Filler Chapter: Happy Birthday Venti!

I flutter my eyes open and stare at the ceiling as i woke up. I sit up from my bed and grab a mint plant on my bedside and munch on it.

"Hm..What day is it today..?"

I look towards the calendar on my wall and just stare at it.

June..16th..

Wasn't that someones birthday? Hmm.. whatever, I'll think about it later.

I dress into my everyday clothes and walk out of the building.

Ahh the morning air..

SHIT ITS VENTI'S BIRTHDAY! Thats why Mondstadt is covered in fucking cecilia's..
..Now these are times when knowing everything about this place is useful.. He would probably want some wine from Angels Share, and apples.

I head towards the souvenir shop and buy a basket to hold the gifts in. I walk to the gates and i could spot a recognizable blonde girl and a loud white haired fairy.

"Heya Traveler and Paimon!" I ran towards them.

"Oh! Hi Y/n! How are you doing?" The fairy asked, excited to see you.

"Im doing great! Its mother's- i mean Venti's birthday today so I wanted to head out and get some things for him!"

"Ah, i almost forgot you called Venti ur mother. Also, its his birthday?" The fairy asked.

"Yup! You forgot?"

"Uhh..Maybe?" The fairy scratches the back of her head.

"Sigh.."

"Y/n, if ur getting something for Venti, then here."
Lumine hands me 2 bottles of dandelion wine and a bag of mora.

"This is my gift to him, but im gonna be busy today. So im letting you give it to him.

"Oh! Alright! I'll be sure to tell him its from you!"

"Thanks Y/n. Tell Venti i wish him a Happy birthday."

"Mhm! I will! Well, I'll be heading out now! Bye bye!"

"See you later Y/n!"

I walk out of the Mondstadt gates, and stretch my wings to prepare for flight.

As i fly up, i could see some apple trees ahead of me and j fly towards them.

I land in the area where the trees were.

..Hm..This area feels kinda familiar..

I crouch down to the dirt, and i could feel a faint, old, familiar geo energy.

..is this where me and Morax first met?? That was centuries ago though? How is his geo particle thingys still here after so long????

Hm.. Whatever. Im just here for the apples.

I pluck the apples off the tree, slightly levitating to reach them. I put them in the basket and i look back at the geo particles.

Eh.

I start to fly back to Mondstadt, but stops for a minute.

Hmmm, i should get him some cecilias as well! Im pretty sure they were his favourite flower, and they taste good! I'll save some for me later to snack on.

I turn my flight direction towards Starsnatch Cliff to get cecilias.

I could see the Thousand Winds Temple as i fly towards Starsnatch.

Yikes. I never liked ruin guards.

I continue to fly towards the cliff, but i could hear some weird noises behind me. I look back and i see-

"*Cough Cough* Happy Birthday Venti!"

"Thank you Y/n!..Are you okay..? You're covered in dirt and smoke."

"Ahaha...uhh..long story short, a ruin guard shot missiles at me..but im good now! Also here! The wine and mora are from Traveler, and the apples and Cecilias are from me!"

Venti's face instantly went from worried, to a face of a child who just got candy.

"GASP! THANK YOU Y/N!!!"
Venti runs up to hug me.

"Heh, glad you like it mother- i mean Venti!"

"Y/n, y'know its fine to call me that!"

"Uh, okayy."

Even after many centuries of being in this world....WHY IS IT STILL AWKWARD FOR ME TO CALL A NON-REAL CHARACTER MY MOMMMM!!! Well.. technically they aren't non-real anymore..but stillll..

The Y/n spends the rest of the day with Venti in Angel's Share, treating him until he can't drink anymore.
