"I love your hairstyle."

I felt light hearted hearing that. Kuya Rafa complimented my hair this time. Kakatapos lang ng klase nang sabihan niya ako na siya ang susundo sa akin, dahil may importante raw kaming pupuntahan. I tried to ask him whom, but he refused to answer.

"It's a bit messy, but still looks good on you." He added.

Napangisi ako. Ginawa ko kasi ang sinend sa akin ni Isaiah, I actually practiced that a lot of times before I slept yesterday. Napagod nga lang ako kakaulit, dahil nakakangawit gawin.

Maganda sana kung makikita ni Isaiah ang hairstyle ko ngayon, but he wasn't here. Nasa Manila sila to go to their debate competition.

As time went on, we arrived safely at a fast-food restaurant. He parked the car, and we both walked together inside the restaurant.

"Why are we here? I believe you're not a fan of quick meals."

"You're right. But I'm helping you out."

I hissed. "Aren't you done for doing some reto for me?"

"It's not about it, okay? I thought you wanted to feed yourself from the last night?" He scoffed at me while arching his brows. "This person knows what happened."

"Why wouldn't you ask Tita Aurelia instead?" Hindi niya ako pinansin.

We completely entered the restaurant with knots on our forehead.

"The person we'll meet today is the franchise owner of this restaurant."

"Wha—"

"Rafa."

I look briefly at that voice. My eyes flickered seeing him here.

"He's Ruadhan Tadeo Almeida; for sure, you know him, Kiara." I'm too stunty to speak. "He owned this, at such a young age."

The guy standing in front of me is wearing a pair of baggy jeans and a black sweater. All of his fit looks branded.

However, he doesn't look like he owned this! Am I too bitter to think of that?

"I'll leave you with him, to answer such confusions that have been bothering you for days."

Gusto kong magprotesta pero hindi ko magawa!

"I'll go to the nearest mall muna. I hate smelling quick foods." Hinatid ko ng tingin si Kuya Rafa.

Iniwan niya talaga ako sa lalaking 'to? He really do trust anyone?!

"Are you going to ask a lot of questions?" I slowly turned a glimpse of him.

His face is just blank.

"I assumed yes?" I didn't respond to him. "I guess, we should have taken a seat to talk for that matter."

He motioned his hand to a vacant table. Pumikit ako ng mariin. I've been close to Kuya Rafa for years, hence I still can't predict what's running inside of his head!

He clasped his hand as he put it above the table. As he gawked completely at me.

"I don't have a lot of time to lend, Ms. Margiella. Kindly tell me the matter?"

Right, Kiara. Why does my mouth seem to be stapled and I can't express any words?!

He sighs, then rests his back on his seat. "If you're doing this for you to spend your time with me? Then just tell me."

Nagsalubong ang kilay ko. "What the hell?"

"There." He pointed me out. "Finally you spoke." He crossed his arms. "I'm just kidding." A small smile plastered on his face.
