I stepped into Sunny's house, where the raucous party was already in full swing. With my wingman Taurus by my side, we immediately made our way over to the table laden with snacks and alcoholic beverages. I'm going to need at least one, if not several, if I have any hope of surviving this night.
Taurus shoved me aside and began greedily grabbing handfuls of chips, the crinkle of the bag punctuating his movements. I let out a huff of exasperation, leaning my back against the sturdy wooden table, arms crossed as I scanned the room. That's when I spotted Sunny, her figure in a sinfully short red dress that clung to her every tantalizing curve.
"Dude, she is smoking hot," Taurus practically leers, his gaze shamelessly raking over Sunny as she stands across the room, engaged in animated conversation with a group of her friends. She's completely oblivious to our arrival, her long, glossy blonde hair cascading over her shoulders in soft waves, her plump, glossy lips curved into a dazzling smile.
I roll my eyes, breaking my own stare to meet Taurus'. "Do you need to comment on every girl I'm involved with?" I muttered, digging my hand into his bag of chips and shoving a few into my mouth.
"Just saying," Taurus simply shrugs, chuckling as he reaches into the bag for a handful, his teeth sinking into the crunchy potato with an audible crunch. "If you don't want her, I'll happily step in."
I don't bother responding, reluctantly chewing as I tried to relocate Sunny in the crowded room. But she's vanished from my line of sight, and out of the corner of my eye, I catch Taurus strolling off as he makes his way towards a group of scantily clad girls.
Panic grips me, and I quickly reach out, yanking him back by the collar of his shirt. "Hey!" he exclaims, his brows furrowing in annoyance as he's jolted back to my side.
"What the hell are you doing?" I ask, looking around the room frantically for any sign of Sunny. "You can't leave me here alone."
"But there's so many girls," Taurus whines, his head thrown back as he rolls his eyes dramatically.
I grip his shoulders, my fingers digging into the firm muscle, staring intensely into his eyes. "Control yourself," I warn him, my voice low and commanding.
"How can I?" Taurus asks, gesturing towards a group of girls in tight, sparkly dresses, their breasts practically spilling out of the fabric, "Look at what they're wearing."
I shake my head in disbelief, shoving him aside as I reach for an empty cup, determined to fortify myself with liquid courage. But the moment I turn around, my heart leaps into my throat as I lock eyes with Sunny, who is headed straight towards me.
"Fuck, she's looking this way," I say, about to nudge Taurus when I realize he's disappeared again. "Taur!" I call out, searching frantically for him around the room.
There he is, already making his way towards the group of girls who eagerly welcome him into their circle, their hands reaching out to caress his muscular frame. Taurus turns back to wave at me, a triumphant, lecherous grin on his face. "Duty calls!" he shouts, before turning his attention to his new conquests, their laughter and giggling echoing across the room.
I groan in frustration, my head dropping into my hands as I mentally prepare myself to face Sunny alone.
"Cap," Sunny calls out, her voice dripping with a sultry allure that sends a shiver down my spine. Her intense gaze burns into me, acknowledging and startling me all at once.
"Sunny," I manage to nod, my eyes reluctantly drinking in the sight of her. Swallowing hard, I quickly turn away, pouring myself a generous mixture of drinks into the cup in my hand.
