POV: Leo (Part 2)

I wrap a towel around my wet body in my bathroom, the sound of running water still echoing. Suddenly, I hear my girlfriend's voice calling out from my room.

"Babe!" she calls, her voice reaching me through the closed bathroom door.

"Give me a second, I just got out of the shower!" I shout back, hurriedly starting to get dressed in my uniform.

I swing open the bathroom door, ready to greet her, but her serious expression catches me off guard.

"Hey hot stuff," I say playfully, trying to lighten the mood. However, she doesn't respond in the usual way.

"Leo, I need to talk to you," she says with a more serious tone.

"What's wrong?" I ask, sitting down next to her on the bed and grabbing a towel to dry my hair.

"Something has been bothering me," she begins, her voice filled with concern.

"Yeah?" I question, leaning in to kiss her softly on the lips and pulling her closer to me. I let my hand slip up her skirt, trying to distract her. "Tell me, I'll make everything better."

"Leo, this is serious," she says firmly, removing my hand from her skirt.

"If this is about your hairbrush, I didn't steal it this time, I swear," I joke, trying to lighten the tension.

"Stop, Leo. Listen to me," she insists, her tone urging me to pay attention.

"Come on, I'm only messing around. What is it, Libs?" I say, attempting to show that I'm ready to listen.

"It's about Virgo," she finally reveals.

"Virgo?" I ask, surprised by her choice of topic.

I thought for sure it would be about Gemini. She was constantly ranting about her these days.

"It's just that... I think she likes you," she says, her lips pressing together. It seemed like she regretted saying it out loud.

"Seriously?" I burst into laughter, thinking she must be joking. "You're fucking with me, right?"

"I'm not, Leo. She really does," she insists, her tone serious.

"I'm the last guy in the universe that Virgo would like," I explain, trying to brush off her statement.

"You don't believe me?" she questions, her voice tinged with hurt.

"Only because you're talking nonsense," I respond, rolling my eyes.

"It's not nonsense!" she shouts, frustration evident in her voice. "And you know what? I'm starting to think you like her too."

The fact that she believed I had feelings for someone other than her stung deeply. It upset me more than I expected.

"Where did you figure that?" I ask, my voice laced with defensiveness.

"Every girl here is talking about it," she responds, her voice slightly softer.

"Those girls don't speak for me," I retort, my frustration growing.

"You're always talking to Virgo, always looking at her, walking her to her classes. It's like she's your girlfriend, and I'm just someone you fool around with."

Her words hit me, and I take a moment to process them. Then, denial seeps into my voice.

"I don't talk to Virgo? We argue like every day," I shout, my voice filled with exasperation. "And I walk her to ONE class because we have the same fucking class. You're overthinking things!"
