Lucy's POV:
I woke up this morning and felt great. Until my morning sickness came by and I needed to run to the bathroom. Tim followed and held my hair. I didn't cry today. I fell into Tim's arms as he carried me back to bed.
T- Babe, I need to get to work or I'm gonna be late.
L- Okay, but I'm going too. And that we are not even going to discuss.
T- Okay detective Bradford.
L- Chop, chop! You were the one who said we needed to hurry so go make my pancakes now!
T- OOoOOo so we're bossy today.
Lucy had no idea that Tim alredy knew. She had talked to Grey the other day and asked him to make the announcement this morning during roll call.
On the way to the station:
T-Why are you so happy today?
L-So what, I'm not allowed to be happy?
T- Ofc you are! I'm just wondering since you started the morning by throwing up and now you look like you just won the lottery.
L- Well tecnically I have won the lottery!
T- We are millionaires?!
L- No! But I have won you!
Tim quickly pulls over and kisses me.
L- Wow, now I really have won the lottery!
We stopped for a minute and made out before Tim started the car again and drove of. We walked into the station holding hands and he gave me a kiss before we went inte the locker rooms.
T- See you in roll call!
In the locker room I met Angela.
A-Soooooooo are you nervous??
L-No, should I be? I started swetting.
A- No you should just be happy.
L- He's going to realise soon enough when my bump starts to show even more. I'm curious though. How can he not have noticed?
Tim's POV:
I'm really starting to wonder if she really is pregnant. And why wouldn't she tell me. We never lie to eachother and even less about something like this. But how can seh even be pregnant she told me she was on the pill a couple of months ago. Maybe I'm just paranoid.
In roll call:
I go and stand up front beside Gray. I see my beautiful wife stand in the corner in between Nyla and Angela. Gray goes on about how night shift never finish and how much work they leave for day shift.
Thats when he said something that made me start to actually listen.
Srg. G- Then I have one last thing before you all are dismissed. We are going to get a new rookie in a couple of months so I suggest that you sergeant Bradford buckle up and take good care of your wife.
T- Wait what?!
Srg. G- Get ready for baby boot!
Everyone starts clapping!!
I run to the back of roll call room and hug Lucy. Is it really true?!?
L-Yes we will have a baby boot!
I lift her up and kiss her. Everyone is still clapping until Grey breaks in.
Srg.G- Do i have to remind you you are still at work?
T- No sir, I said with a really big smile on my face.
Srg. G- Right everyone dismissed!
L- You do realise you will be a real daddy cop now? She said with a big smil on her face.
We turned to Nyla and Angela. I still kept my hand on Lucys stomach.
A-Finally we can talk about it!
T-How long have you known?
A- I don't know. Probably two weeks.
T- Why didn't you tell me sooner? I asked all of them.
L-We wanted to do a real surprise and not just something lame.
I didn't tell Lucy what I had felt the week before when we were laying in bed, but I did get a bad feeling about not telling her. A feeling of guilt.
A- So when will we get to see our baby boots ultrasoundpicture?
L- I booked an appointment for tomorrow after lunch and I was thinking maybe we can take half the day of after lunch, go to the appointment and then go to the beach and have a pick-nick dinner together with some friends?
A- I will definitly book a babysitter so me and Wesly are in.
N- Same here! Me and James would love to come!
L- Then it's just Aaron, Celina, Tamara, John, Bailey, Luna and Grey left(hope I didn't forget anyone).
