L- I don't know why but hearing you say that made me fall in love even more.I didn't even think it was possible to be that in love.
T- Wait, you acctually liked that part?
L- Ofc I did. It's funny because of all the vows I wrote down I did really get jealous of you for not think of that. But it's also quite cute how you weren't even able to describe our love.
T- Well just the feeling of marring you got me so overwhelmed that if I was supposed to write my love down it would take thousands of papers. So just a 'I don't even know what to say because I love and care for you so much' was a beginning.
Lucy hugged him, hooshed him out of the bathroom so she could clean her self up a bit, use some outhwash and drink some water before joining him on the couch.
L- It's strange though.
T- What?
L- I haven't eaten anything that should've made me sick nor do I feel bad.
T- Maybe you're coming down with something that you haven't noticed yet?
L- Probably.
They stayed on the couch all day let talking, watching tv and had some short make out sessions. In between Lucy had to run to the bathroom and throw up quite some times. She did think of the idea of being pregnant but didn't want to tell Tim in case she wasn't. The feeling of hurting Tim by not being able to carry a child just hurt too much. She decided to talk to Angela in the station the next day and ask her to get a test. And just tell Tim she probably just was sick right now, which also could be the case.
Lucy couldn't resist the happy feeling of being pregnant again though and almost felt it in her. But she just once again told herself she was being delusional. But keeping her hands of her stomach wasn't easy but she didn't want Tim to get suspicious.
They went to bed and sleept peacefully next to eachother with nothing less than an inch between them.
T- Morning gorgeous
L- Morning handsome
T- Excited for today?
L- I'm very excited but I will miss you. _being away from eatchother is painfull but I'll live, hopefully😂
T- You know what I mean. We've been off work for a week, you might miss the people from the station.
L- Yes, I do. But I still like being at home, but going back is definetly exciting.
She was also excited and a bit worried to get the pregnancytest back but that was out of Tim knowleage.
The ride to the station in Tim's truck and park outside. They walk into the bull pen holding hands before splitting paths to the lockerrooms. They gave eatchother a quick kiss before walking off.
When Lucy entered the womens lockerroom she was greeted by an overly excited Angela Lopez.
A- LUCY!!!
L- Woah! Hello to you too?
A- What have you been up to for the last week? You and Tim had some fun?!😏
L- Actually about that... I need a favour.
A- Okay, shoot!
L- Sooooo I might have been feeling a bot off for the last couple of week and might be late.
A- How late?
L- 2 weeks, and for the last couple of days I've been puking my guts out before lunch.
A- YOU WHAT?!?! You're definetly pregnant...!
L- That's one option right, but would you do me the favour and by me a test? I don't want Tim to know I've taken one before I know. Even if it comes back negative I'll tell him but please help me out?
A- Ofc! No problem at all! My two besties might be having a child, I'm more than willing to help. I'll grab one so you'll have it at lunch.
L- Thank you soo much Ange, this relly means so much to me *sobs
A- Well if it isn't pregnancy hormones I feel sorry for you right now😆 But I will be hard on Tim for knocking you up again and that is not debatable!
L- Fine, but please fix a test as soon as possible?
A- I promise!
They walk out of the lockerrooms and in to rollcall. Lucy didn't have time to say hi to Tim before since he was on Watch commander duty today therfore Grey was sick.
T- Alright everybody wrap it up! Today Pine will take over Greys position since we are short staffed on patrol. Lopez and Harper need you Thorsen for a case so Detective Bradford you're back on patrol today since we are in need of officers. Nolan and Jusarez I need you on lookout for a short metro op before lunch. Be safe out there!
Tim goes up to Lucy, Angela and Nyla in the back.
L- How did you manage to get Pine in the big office today? She hates it there
T- Well it helps that I bribed her with taking an extra nightshift so she doesn't need to come in. BUT I promise that I will take that shift when you are on your girlstrip so you won't miss me more than usual.
L- Okay, well we better get going! See you at lunch Ange and Nyla!
A- Stay safe!
L- You never know
They walked off to get the gear and bodycams. Tim offered to help with the bags so his very wonderful wife didn't get unnecessary tired even before shift started. Something he would never had done during her rookie year. They got a few calls but nothing big before lunch. They stopped at the foodtrucks and Tim went to order food while Lucy joined their colleagues.
L- Hey guys
A- Hey Lucy, where's Tim?
L- He's just getting food. What's up?
A- Nothing, I just went and fixed what you needed. Do you want me with you or you want to do it alone?
L- Can you go with me?
A- Ofc! My pleasure
L- Tim, we're just going to the bathroom. We'll be right back
T- Sure, be safe
L- Always!
They go to the bathroom together. Angela waits outside while Lucy takes the test.
L- I'm scared. I don't know if I'm ready for this.
A- I know, I had the exact same feeling last time. You never feel ready but you always make it work and I know Tim will help you with absolutely everything, even it you don't want the help right there and then you will appreciate it later. And you have the family at the station.
L- I know, can you look at it first?
A- Sure. Are you ready?
L- As ready as I can get...
