Three years have passed. Lily is now three years old. She loves learning the guitar with Eddie, playing dolls with me, food, animals especially dogs, and anything Disney/Pixar related. She hates nap time, bedtime, and bath time. Typical toddler pretty much. Lily is taking a nap right now actually. I feel arms wrap around me from behind.
"Hi, hun," Eddie says.
"Hi, babe," I say.
"What is this doing out?" Eddie asks, pointing the pregnancy test on the counter.
"I have something to tell you," I say.
"Oh?" he asks.
"We are going to be parents again. I am pregnant. I just found out," I say.
He smiles, picks me up, twirls me around, and puts me back down then kisses me. I kiss him back.
"This is wonderful news. I am so excited," he says.
"Really?" I ask.
"Yes, hun. Why would I not be excited?" he asks.
"Because Lily has powers. What if this baby does too?" I say.
"I will treat it the same way I treat you and Lily," he says.
I nod and kiss him. He kisses me back. Lily does indeed have powers. She can do the smallest of laughs and people's necks will break instantly. More dangerous than me so we try not to make her laugh or giggle.
"I love you," I say.
"I love you too," he says.
"Should we tell Lily after her nap?" I ask.
"Up to you, hun," he says.
"Then yes," I say.
"Alright," he says.
I ruffle his long curly hair which makes him giggle.
"I like your soft hair," I giggle.
"I know. I just find it cute," he says.
"You always say I am cute," I say.
"Because you are," he says.
Six months pass. Eddie, Lily, and I are holding a gender reveal party with everyone we know. We are so excited to find out with everyone else. Joyce is the only one who knows the gender and set up the whole party. I feel like I am pregnant with twins or more because I am showing quite big. Lily is also very excited to have a sibling. She wants a sister but Eddie and I are okay with any gender. Joyce then pulls out three balloons.
"Before we find out the gender, I would like to announce Eddie and Jesse are expecting triplets. Three babies are inside Jesse's stomach," Joyce says.
"You were right, baby. Two or more babies," Eddie whispers.
I nod in response. Eddie, Lily and I go over to the balloons.
"Eddie gets to pop the first one. Jesse is doing the second one. Lily is doing the third and final balloon," Joyce says.
Eddie pops the first balloon. Blue confetti pops out.
"Brother!" Lily yells, excitedly.
"Yes, princess," Eddie smiles.
I pop the second balloon. Pink confetti pops out.
"Sister!" Lily smiles.
"Yes, my dear," I say.
Eddie helps Lily pop the third and final balloon. Pink confetti pops out again.
"Another sissy!" Lily says.
"I guess daddy is outnumbered," Eddie says.
Lily smiles and I laugh. Eddie comes over to me and kisses me. I kiss him back.
"The two girls are identical twins," Joyce says.
"Really?" I ask.
"Yes. Congratulations to the three of you," Joyce says.
"Thank you," Eddie says.
"No problem," Joyce says.
"What will be their names?" Steve asks.
"Our son's name will be James Edward Munson," Eddie says.
"The twins names will be Rosalie Joy Munson and Raven Elizabeth Munson," I say.
"Cute names," Robin says.
"Thank you," I say.
"You are welcome," Robin says.
Lily is playing with Jane. They are very close. And Jane helps Lily control her powers for whenever she laughs. My powers are getting weaker as I get older but I still train every now and then so they do not fully disappear. Eddie and I hold hands.
"I love you, babe," I say.
"I love you too, hun," Eddie says.
I kiss him passionately. He kisses me back the same way. I was so happy to have a boy and two girls.
"I think four kids is enough," I say.
"Maybe we can try again for another boy," Eddie teases.
"Do you feel outnumbered?" I joke.
"Maybe a little," he teases.
I smile at him. He smiles back. I could tell he was half joking though.
"Okay. We can try one more time for another boy when the triplets are three years old," I say.
"Are you sure, darling?" he asks.
"Yes," I say.
"Alright, I love you," he says.
"I love you too," I say.
"And our kids, of course," he says.
"Yes," I agree.
Three months later, I give birth to James, Rosalie, and Raven. They were born on October 9th. Rosalie was born first at 8:05 am. James was next at 8:11 am. Raven was last bar 8:22 am. Rosalie and Raven both looked like Eddie. And James looked like me. Eddie kisses me. I kiss him back.
"Should I go get Lily?" Eddie asks.
"Yes, please," I say.
Right before Eddie could leave, the alarm in the hospital goes off.
"Jesse, we demand you and your children. For experiments. As punishment for being on the run," Dr. Brenner says, over the intercom.
I look over at Eddie, scared. He looks at me, also scared.
"Protect the kids," I say.
"Where are you going?" Eddie asks.
"To negotiate," I say.
"Are you sacrificing yourself for our four kids?" Eddie asks.
"I have to. I need to protect them," I say.
"Please be careful, hun," he says.
"I will. I promise," I say.
"I love you," he says.
"I love you too," I say.
He pulls me close and kisses me. I kiss him back then go off to find Dr. Brenner.
