Prettiest fucking girl😍
Yeah?

Prettiest fucking girl😍
Are you on your way?"

Rei💗
I'm around the corner.

Rei💗
Should I come up?

Prettiest fucking girl😍
No, I'm coming down.

I tucked my phone into my cross bag and grabbed my keys before heading out the door. The elevator ride down was empty but by the time I got to the lobby, it was being bombarded by a few working-class people just getting home from the office.

It was hard trying to avoid colliding with them all, but I successfully made it to the exit unscathed. The cool evening breeze greeted me the moment I stepped out into the streets. Then, my eyes found Reilly, leaning against the side of her sleek black sedan and I smiled. Involuntarily.

She was dressed in black jeans with rips in the knees, a black off-shoulder crop top and black leather boots. She looked stunning like she wasn't even real but this time, I didn't just freeze in the middle of the sidewalk. As I made it up to her, she unfolded her arms and took a step forward, revealing a gorgeous bouquet.

"Reilly!" I pulled her into a brief hug, wrapping both my arms around her neck. "Hi."

"Hi," she responded, holding onto my waist. It didn't bother me. At all. "Permission to tell you how beautiful you look."

"Granted."

"You are breathtaking." Her breath tickled my neck as she spoke and then I felt her press a kiss there. "And you smell good. You look good and you smell good-"

"I taste even better."

"I- Drew!"

I let out a nervous laugh, pulling away from her just a bit. "I didn't mean it like that."

"But I'm sure it's not a lie." She commented. Then she offered me the flowers. "I got you these."

I took them with a smile. "Thank you. I got you something too." I told her, digging into my bag. It wasn't flowers, well, not really. It was a golden necklace with a sunflower pendant that could open up. Inside, it had another pendant engraved with the message, you are my sunshine. It was in a small brown box and I handed it to her. "I saw this and thought of you so."

She took it hesitantly, her eyes lingering on the box as if just like that, she could see through it. "What is it?"

"Open it."

She carefully removed the cover but hesitated to do anything else. I watched her, biting my lip. "Drew..." She finally reached for it, removing it from the box. Her thumb brushed the pendant softly and it shifted, revealing the inner piece. A dazzling smile appeared on her face, followed by a blush. She met my eyes again, biting her lip.

"So you like it?" I prompted.

She nodded and reached for me again, pulling me back into her. "I love it. I'm your sunshine?"

"You are," I confirmed. "I don't know how I would've made it through this summer without you."

"I think you like me," she said leaning closer.

I giggled. "I do."

She kissed me softly before moving back and taking my hand. "Let's go on that date?"
