Waking up to the gentle hum of the city outside, I find myself tangled in a warm embrace with Reilly. Her naked body was soft and her steady breathing was a soothing rhythm against the morning light filtering through the curtains. It's Saturday, a day we had both been eagerly anticipating, not just because it was the weekend, but because we'd carved out this time just for us, free from the demands of work and the outside world. This Saturday, it would just be me and her.

With a slow and gentle twist, I spun to face her and watched as a smile slowly spread across her face. She glided her open palm over my clothesless back and snuggled her face into my chest. The action was by far the most adorable thing and it made my chest warm. I glided my fingers through her hair until I was cradling the back of her head. It was down her back now, and I decided I liked it better at shoulder length. She switched between the two often, so she most probably will cut it again pretty soon.

"Morning, beautiful!" I whispered, my lips against her forehead.

"Good morning, gorgeous," she mumbled, her voice rough with sleep as she tightened her hold around me. "How did you sleep?"

I smiled at the question. "I always sleep perfectly so long as I'm in your bed...with you."

"That is a sign you should never get out, then!" She chimed, taking a deep, slow breath and snuggling even more into my chest. "Hmmm. You smell so good."

I giggled at the feel of her breath against my cleavages. It tickled. Still, I didn't want her to pull away. I loved her there. I loved her. "You're addicted," I teased.

"I'm attracted-"

"It is an addiction at this point." I shifted my leg from between hers to throw it over her thigh instead, bringing us closer. "I bet two days without me and you would start going into withdrawals."

She scowled. "That's a bit narcissistic of you to say."

"Sounds like I hit the nail on the head," I said laughing.

"Whatever." She rolled her eyes in mock annoyance and reached back to fetch her phone from the night table. But she could only move above her waist with the way I was lapping her. I watched her twist herself into a pretzel. She swears it doesn't hurt because she's double-jointed or whatever but I can imagine her spine looking like a rung-out washcloth. It was a pretty painful thing to imagine.

Once she had the device in hand, she came right back to lay her head on my arm. At the painful look on my face, she laughed. "Oh, Drew, stop it. I'm fine."

"Should I get in contact with an exorcist?"

"No, because I'm not possessed. Well," she rethought, smirking at me. "Unless every moment you kiss me counts?" I scoffed at her statement, receiving a sheepish smile. "What do you want to do today?"

"So, I have a super fun idea. I'm glad you asked," I said, reaching for my phone too. There were a few messages from my parents. My mom wanted us to do dinner again tomorrow. So long as it wasn't today, we could if Reilly wanted to go. "Do you want to go to dinner with my parents tomorrow?"

"Yeah sure," she responded almost immediately. "That would be nice."

"Alright, but she said this time, we're cooking."

"Never mind then," she quickly switched up.

I bellowed a laugh, my head falling back against the pillows. Reilly glared at me, still, a small smile twisted her lips. "So, anyway," she said, "what's that super fun idea?"

"We're going on a mini-adventure. Pack comfortable shoes and something for a picnic," I instruct, my mind already racing with the day's possibilities.

Her interest piqued, Reilly sprung up, her energy infectious. "I'm intrigued. Lead the way, Taylor."
