Chapter 40; She was a redhead, if you know what I mean.
••Daniel's POV••
I drove out the driveway, thinking back to last night. How Anna had looked so guilty about something. Was she starting that Anorexic thing again? Or was she hiding something else from me?
Whatever it was, I was pretty sure she would tell me today. Since she told me to come over this morning. But I still didn't get it, what if she told me she was seeing someone else and broke up with me? No. She wasn't seeing someone else. I knew the steps of a player and she may look like one but she sure as hell isn't one.
She was beautiful, and I thought about her pretty face everynight. But last night... When I was thinking about her raspberry smelling red hair, the light brown eyes behind those contacts, those pink plump lips, those freckles that dotted her face and some parts of her chest, they way she blushed, how she looked without makeup. I realized something.
Shit, this "something" was more important than anything in the world. Mostly because I had never felt this way about anyone before. She was the inspiration who opened my eyes and made me stop being a player and a bad boy.
I didn't care about my reputation anymore.
I didn't care what people thought of me.
I just...
I loved her.
And I was glad I did, she was perfect. Even though she, herself had her own insecurities. She shouldn't though, because she was every guys dream.
I mean, she was a redhead, if you know what I mean. She could stay up all night playing video games with you, she wouldn't watch cheesy movies, she would rather watch some excorsist shit and her screams would only go like: "This is bitch is so stupid, it makes me want to strangle her!". She was perfect.
Who wouldn't love her?
And since I was meeting her at her house today, I was planning on telling her what I felt... And, I could possibly give her a gift.
I parked the car in the closest parking lot to that "Pandora" store. As soon as I walked in, two college workers came up to me.
"May I help you with something?" They asked in unison, and then stared at eachother down.
"Umm," I paused, "Can I have someone else to help me?" I didn't want to talk to college girls. I needed someone older.
They groaned and walked away, they were like teenage girls in high school. A nice older looking lady came up to me and offered help.
"I'm looking for a necklace? It doesn't matter if it's gold or not... I just want to give it to a special someone." I told her.
She smiled sweetly, "Girlfriend?" She asked, raising her brow. I nodded. "Follow me."
After she showed me thousands of necklace's, we were running out of necklaces to look at. Until I saw it, the most beautiful necklace for the most beautiful girl.
"What about that one?" I pointed at the glass infront of the necklace.
"Oh. This?" She took it out for me. "Is sterling silver."
She gently layed the necklace on the glass for me to look at. The chain on the necklace was thin, and the pendant hanging on it made it look perfect. The pendant was a small silver camera, with a diamond on where the flash was suppose to be.
It reminded me of all the times we spent together, arguing, laughing, or almost killing ourselfs. All those moments we had saved like a camera would have saved a picture.
