Chapter Ten

Eleanor's POV:

Did Tom Marvolo Riddle just kissed me!? Oh shit. I hope no one was here. I don't want my boyfriend to find out. He's the sweetest

It's the guy from the party from a couple months ago. His name is Elijah

He's the most sweetest person I've ever met. He gives me gifts every week, he treats me with respect and so much love. I fallen in love with him completely. But on the other hand, Tom Riddle is back in my life, again

It feels like summer. I forgot about him but the moment school started, he came back into my life. Since I haven't seen him in two months, it's weird that he kissed me especially now that I have a boyfriend

I don't feel the same way anymore. Now that he's my tutor, I don't see him as anything more than that. I should definitely be more careful around him now. I even heard he has a girlfriend so I have no idea why he did that

I left the library. It was already dark out. I had to be careful. I could get in trouble by a professor

I close to walking to the Gryffindor common room, until I heard something. I didn't know what it was and I was obviously not gonna go near it

I went inside the common room, only to find my brother, Percy, waiting for someone which was me

"I thought I said not to go near him?" He says

"I wasn't near him. Well it's not my fault his my tutor." I mumbled

"I'm sorry? Say that again?"

I shouldn't have said anything. "He's my tutor. I've been failing my classes lately."

"Gosh Eleanor. How many times have I told you, stop fucking around and focus on your grades."

"Well I'm sorry I ain't perfect like you. I will never be like you."

"Oh come on Eleanor. I know your not like me but you were so good at all of your classes. What's going on?"

I didn't say a word to him. Well he doesn't know how I used to like Riddle. I hate the fact that I even liked him in the first place

"Eleanor. Answer me now!" He yelled

"Okay fine! Ever since the party, I've been thinking about things and my grades have been slipping. I didn't have a choice then to other have a tutor."

I was completely quiet. Not a single word came out of my mouth

"You know I care about you. I don't want mother or father to find out about your grades. Just bring your grades up. Stop thinking about others and focus on yourself for once."

Maybe he's right. I should probably forget about him. He's irrelevant. But it's so hard to not think about someone. Especially someone who's been in your life for so long

"Now go to bed. You need rest." He says

I just left and walked up to the rooms. The girls were sleeping. But I seen Kinsley, sitting near the window

"Girl why aren't you asleep?" I asked

She wiped her face. I walked up to her, only to see her eyes swollen from crying

"What happened!"

She stutter, trying to find her words but couldn't get them out. A tear ran down her cheek. I held her close and she broke down. These tears were definitely from a heartbreak

"Me and George broke up.."

"Shh, it's going to be okay." My heart completely broke for her. I felt so bad. Now I'm curious. I wanna know what happened. Kinsley is my best friend and George is my brother. Well this is gonna be a long year

I stayed up all last night, making sure Kinsley was okay. She was crying, throwing up, just a lot at once. My poor girl is really going through this. She still doesn't want to tell me what happened between her and George

I was tired, really tired. But I had to be there for my best friend. She looked horrible and I did too cause of how tired of I was. But I'm not important right now though. Kinsley is more important

Kinsley ended up falling asleep, around the time I would wake up for classes. Well everyone was getting up and getting ready for class

Instead of me getting ready, I decided to stay with her instead. I can't leave her alone during her lowest right now

Everyone left the room and it was just me and her alone

I started to fall asleep as well.

"Well, well, well." Said a familiar voice

I opened my eyes to see who it was. Wait, shit!

"What are you doing here!"

"Well I thought I was supposed to tutor you again." Riddle said

"Ugh, get out. I don't want you to be here."

"Nope. This is my job. Now get off of bed."

Ugh since when is this boy so bossy. I'm so stupid. He always been bossy

"Ugh go away. I got nothing to do with you."

"Well then. I can just simply write you and your friend up for skipping class. You wouldn't want me to do that, don't you?"

Of course this boy is manipulating me. I'm not surprised. But I also don't want to get in trouble

"Look. I'm tired, I didn't sleep all night. I was taking care of my best friend. Now please. Leave us alone."

He didn't say anything. He stared at me and then look over at Kinsley. "Alright fine. Next time, both of y'all will get detention. But you still gotta do your damn work. I'll meet you in the library later, after lunch. If you don't make it, just watch what's going to happen."

He left. Ughhh. This boy is driving me crazy. I seriously can't do anything without him saying something. This is killing me

Ugh whatever. I'll just sleep..
