You wait for his reply, playing games in the meantime. You probably were waiting for 2 hours but to no avail, he did not reply. You check your text again, just one last time. Your text said 'read' underneath it. A message with three loading dots appeared, meaning he was typing a reply, but they soon disappeared and he never answered. You sigh, trying to think of what to do to pass the time. You thought of going to the police station, possibly asking questions or something. You never did get the name of the cop who interviewed you and couldn't read his name tag from the dark room you both were in. You tried to brush it off as your phone starts to ring. It was an unknown number but you were bored.

"You've reached Y/N, who's this?"

"Hey, Y/N. It's me, Julie, Torin's old friend?"

"Julie? Sounds familiar, don't think I remember you though,"

"I used to hang out with Torin all the time, so it's fine if you don't. Anyway, I heard what happened to the others.. I'm so sorry." You pause, remembering what happened.

"It's fine, I guess-" You lie. "What did you want?"

"I tried to text Torin but he isn't answering and you're the only one I thought would answer, cuz I remember you guys..!" She chuckles. You hum as a response, letting her go on.

"But I'm calling you because I want to help find the killer, Y/N. Aster didn't deserve to die."

"Is it because she and Torin were so close?" You blankly retort, shortly realizing your mistake.

"Wha- what? No..! I just want to help you and avenge the killer.." There was slight confusion and sadness in her voice.

"S-Sorry, I just haven't been doing well..One friend is dead and another is missing, now one won't talk to me"

"..Y/N.. I know I hardly know you and you hardly know me but if you need someone to talk to, I'm here, always."

"Thanks, Julie. I guess I'll save your number then."

She chuckles "You never know when you need it..! Well it's good that I told my plan.. I have a couple cops in my family that would probably be willing to help, if I asked."

"Oh really? Who?"

"My uncle, Alex! He's probably already on the case, to be honest.."

"I was interviewed a while ago, don't think I've met him. Mind describing?"

"Sure..! Black hair, medium tone skin.. Dark hair and he's fairly tall. That's all I can think of right now, sorry I haven't seen him in a while."

"It's alright. Do you live in town?"

"Yeah, not too far. If you ever want to stop by, I live right down Main Street."

"Ohh, I live on Raine Street I might head to the station later if you want to meet up or something."

"Yeah, sure! I'll check my schedule to see what time would work for you..!" Pages of a book are slightly heard in the background. You stay quiet, checking texts while staying on the call.

"Does 4:30 work for you, Y/N?"

"Yeah, it should. I got nothing to do anyway." You check the clock, 2:45 PM.

"Prefect. You said at the station, right? Off of Forest Drive?"

"Well, there's only one station in town that I know of, so yes." You chuckle, saving Julie's contact and making her profile Lucifer from Hazbin Hotel since it was the first one in your camera role.

"Alright. See you then, I have another call I need to get to in a few minutes so I'll let you go, ok?"

"Alright, bye Julie."

"See you later." She hung up the call and you were left alone and bored once again. You texted your mom so she knew you didn't die after she left the house for work.

Time skip - 1 ½ hours later

4:26 PM. You had already changed and fixed your hair. You were finally ready to meet Julie. You texted your mom ahead of time to tell her you were gonna meet a friend.

Which, in this case, you kinda were?

You managed to find your cat, Coby, and made sure he was all set. You didn't really know when you or your mom would get home since her schedule was always up and down. You gave your calico some food before leaving the house, grabbing your keys in case. Off to find Julie... you thought.
