You put your phone back in your pocket before responding, not wanting to think about it.

"Maybe I should try integrating him again.." He put his fingers on his chin to think as soon as Julie walks back into the room.

"Everything ok in here?" She puts some files on the desk. "I found these in the back if you want to check them out."

"Thanks Julie" You take a look at them. "Wait-"

"Hm? What did you find, Y/N? I didn't really go throught the files when I found them.."

"This has happened before?!" You skim through a file about something similar happening in the past.

"Shit, Julie where did you find those files?"

"Uhh, some back closet near the main guy's office-" She looks away with a slightly nervous look on her face.

"What?" You look at Alex and back to Julie.

"Jules, you mean the manager?" You hand one of the files to Alex's outstretched hand. He looks at it intently. "This is about missing kids and unexpecting murders that go back...what? 20 years?" He continues reading. "They're all pretty spread out, but still creepy."

"Do they.. Have any clues of who might of done them..?" She nervously cracks her knuckles, while reading one of the files.

"All cases go cold.. No traces or anything. Poor kids..."

"..Damn it.." Mumbles Julie, looking away sadly.

"I'm not letting Aster's death and Jamie's disappearance go cold." Your voice is stern but hurt.

Julie looks up at you with determination and confidence but her face goes serious once she looks over at Alex. He nods.

"Y/N. Can you contact Torin and get him to come here? We have some more questioning to do." Alex looks to you and you nod and look back at your phone.

Julie glances at you and Alex. "There were other files in the closet if you want to check them out.. And, I wanted to check out the mall for myself so I'm heading out. Don't let the main guy catch you with the files. Catch ya later.!" She put down the files she had in her hands on the desk and left the office silently.
