"How can they do this mam? All we are doing is trying to solve this case and also the administration gave us permission for that too."Pratichi said as Sambhavita gave everyone mugs of coffee.

"I'm sorry we all aren't brainiacs like you.. what's going on exactly?" Ayan asked.

"They filled a judicial case against us." Neerav said.

"Yah, hearing isn't the problem here Neerav. We know that but hota kya hai ye?" Ruhani asked.

"Basically, there will be a judge who will decide if we get to continue or not. College Adminstration will present why we shouldn't and we will present why we should.. like a mock court. But with a real judge and judgement. We have to obey the verdict." Nikhil explained.

"Well shit..." Ruhani cursed.

"Well this can't be that bad. We can present what we have and I'm sure the judge will see the reason." Anaya said.

"No sweetheart it's bad because this will be exactly like fighting a real case but without a lawyer. As this is a judicial case we aren't allowed to get a lawyer." Nikhil said directly to Anaya.

"So is the college right? I mean they will have to fight on their own too?" Kavya asked.

"No. College will have their lawyer because a lawyer is a part of the administration of a college. This is bad....!" Pratichi said.

"Mam, you are the part of this so technically you can fight for us." Ayan said.

"I'm a psychology professor, Ayan. I have no way of standing a chance in front of a real lawyer." Sambhavita said.

"Ab ek hi rasta hai. Abse leke hearing tak ke time main hame criminal law ki pure course ko chat Lena hoga, if we wish to at least present it." Ruhaani said. "Aur hum mainse agar koi ye kar sakta hai that's him." She pointed to Nikhil.

"Are you insane?" Nikhil asked baffled.

"You are one of the best criminal law students, Nikhil. I have heard from Mr. Banarjee about you." Sambhavita said. "You are the only one who can get close enough to give a fight."

"But ma'am, knowing something in theory doesn't make up for the sheer technicalities and experience of a professional lawyer." Nikhil tried to make a point.

"Is my technicalities and experience matter?" They all turned to Mr. Banarjee.

"Sir?" Sambhavita asked.

"Han ami. Sambhavita..! You have been right all along. I was being loyal to a system that killed one of the brightest mind. Kahi na kahi mujhe vi ye pata tha. But today the judicial case that the administration filed, gave me the confirmation of what I already knew for quite some time now." Mr. Banarjee said to all of them. "I can't argue the case on your behalf, but Nikhil, if you choose to do this, all my knowledge and expertise of Criminal law is at your disposal."
