Even though it was unintentional, Ruhani and Ayan were the two last people to stay behind. Ayan was shocked and hurt by what just happened and Ruhani was confused about what to do next. She picked up her bag and decided to walk out silently the moment Ayan sat down. She crossed the room almost at the door when on the door glass she saw Taran's smiling face. It was a reflection of his picture on the opposite wall. She closed her eyes for a second and turned to Ayan,
"You are an asshole, but this shouldn't happen to anyone. Nobody deserves this. I know you think you liked Kavya but I think it was just your desperate attempt to fit in the group. And she was the safest option." She said. Ayan looked up.
"I paid attention to her because she was your polar opposite. I thought that's what I needed." He replied.
"I'm no Sambhavita Joshi but I can tell you that you are rushing into this relationship thing. You just got out of a long and explosive relationship. Take time. Heal yourself. Understand your needs. And for God sake Ayan, please stop making life decisions around me." She was about to leave.
"Ruhani?" She stopped to turn. "Did you ever forgive for whatever I did? For everything I put you in? The mental abuse I put you in.."
"Ayan... It's a years long phenomenon. It will take time but I'm trying to forget it. Acha hoga tum bhi bhulne ki kosis karo."
"You deserve so much better than me.."
"Janti hun."
Two days later they were all meetings at the cafe to compare notes. Sanjeet was the last to arrive. He had a bike for the first time.
"What happened to your Car and why are you being daredevil just when you started to heal?" Anaya asked as soon as he came in.
"Chill bhabi. Car Minu di le gayi hai. And I'm fine." Sanjeet said put his arm around her to which she made a face. "Nikhil, bhabi ek dum mummy mode pe chali gayi thi."
"I think you look even handsome with the bike." Kavya said.
"See? I look even handsome." Sanjeet Said to Anaya. They all sat down. "Tum log baitho main apna coffee leke ata hun."
"I got you latte." Kavya said cheerfully passing him one. Sanjeet looked around the table before taking the cup and sat down between Nikhil and Pratichi.
"She got your LATTE Sanjeet." Nikhil mimmicked in a hushed tone.
"Yey."
Sanjeet said dredfully taking a sip of the sweet drink and try not to make a face because Kavya was looking at him anticipated. He gave her a smile and the conversation began. The second time when he took a sip it was different. It was americano with very little amount of sugar. Just how he likes it. He looked at the drink it was the cup it had. It was a different one with 'im sorry' written on it. He looked to his side and Pratichi was drinking from the cup he had previously. She swapped the drink without him noticing. She smiled without looking at him to show that his guess was true. He slid a sticky note saying 'Thank you ' towards her. After sometime,
