Sweet dreams are made of this

Who am I to disagree?

I travel the word and the seven seas

Everybody's looking for something

When Saturday came, there was no walk. Hope had unfortunately caught a fever lying in bed half asleep. Her mouth was gaped open to breathe through and her left eye against the pillow was open. Since the night before, she felt dizzy and sweating more than usual, she tried drinking water but that didn't cool her down. She stopped her progress on the shuttle earlier that day opting to go to bed instead. Instead of expecting a two or three-hour nap, she woke up to next morning. Which is where she is now.

Her stomach ached from hunger and sickness, she needed to get up and eat something, but her sore, lethargic body wouldn't allow her. She had to hold her stomach from the pain while she slowly stood up and walked to the kitchen. Eclipse and his children were still soundly sleeping on the couch, she still didn't see how Eclipse found the couch so comfy. Every time she ended up sleeping on it from watching too much TV, she woke up with an aching back and neck.

When she looked in the cabinets she found that there was no medicine, all the medicine she had were all used up before or expired. Plus she hadn't gotten sick in so long that she didn't need to shop for more, after all, she was maintaining a healthy diet. She squinted at the nearly empty cabinet as though a bottle would magically appear out of thin air, but it remained empty. She closed the cabinets and slowly walked back to her room in defeat.

Hope struggled to put her contacts in and get ready, her shaky hands had difficulty pulling her hair in a small low ponytail. Putting on clothes wasn't any easier, her legs almost gave up from putting on a pair of jeans. She shuffled out of the bedroom hearing a few small noises from the kitchen which meant that Eclipse was awake. She peered in the room, he was pulling out pots and pans debating which one he should use.

She watched as her friend struggled to remember which one was suitable for cooking bacon. He put the pot back and grabbed a pan bigger than the one he was holding. Once again, he looked at each one carefully before going with the bigger pan. He set it on the stove and before he could attempt to turn it on, Hope walked in, "Hold on, let me do that."

She knew better than to trust Eclipse with turning on the stove, the oven was one thing, but if she allowed him to turn the stove on no doubt it would explode. She gently pushed Eclipse to the side as she started the stove, "But I can do it."

"No, you can't."

"Yes, I can."

"How do you turn it on?" She looked at him, eyebrow raised.

Eclipse thought about it for a minute before hesitantly responding "You just turn the dial."

"No, you push the dial down, turn it until you hear a click, then set it on the heat you want."

"... Yeah, I knew that." Eclipse looked away sheepishly, tapping his fingers together.

Hope gave him a tired, smug grin, "Sure you did. What are you trying to make?"

"Anything with meat."

"Bacon got it."

She grabbed the raw meat from the fridge and placed it on the counter, "How about I let you cook and I watch you?"

"I get to cook?" His hands touched his face in shock. A smile grew on his face along with a slight blush to his cheeks.

"Just for today!" Hope pointed out sharply, pointing a finger up. "I'll be watching. Not to mention I'm sick and I can't risk spreading it."
