I'm not sure if I added this before or not. But, since it's so important, I'll go ahead and tack this on to this rant book. Just in case I didn't.

You know how each and every ship has a whole list of reasons as to why to each shipper ships that ship? Okay, I admit, some of those reasons are and can be completely biased, personal, or simply ridiculous. But, honestly, who cares?

I once read an Anti-Jelsa book that dubbed several Jelsa shipping reasons as stupid and "not even legit". That's when it hit me--does it really matter?

And the answer, my people, is no. It most definitely does NOT matter. This is because most of the time, shippers ship their own ships without much of a reasoning, and more of a liking or attraction towards that particular couple/pair. When people start hating on ships, that's when the time comes for people to create reasons and use them to their own defense.

Ships don't need reasons to be shipped. Who cares if they don't make sense? First of all, everyone who is shipped together is usually a fictional character, or a character that's made up who's also played by an actual person in real life. This means that everything about that character was made up, thought of, created in order to fit the plot line of that movie/show. This also means that shippers can pair them up as they please, since everyone is a big, fictional, happy family. "Making sense" and "compatibility" shouldn't be key factors, because as long as the fan can display their favorite shipping in a reasonable and mature way, no one has a reason to hate.

So, the next time some immature shipper of any ship asks YOU for a good reason why you ship what you ship, your answer should be simple.

This ship has shippers. Enough said.
