Mariana almost screamed looking startled ."No I was just looking for my friend , Sofia" she said that, so that it wouldn't appear as if she wasn't obsessed."Oh ,ok well I was just checking up on you but it seems your fine so I'll be heading home." he said."But! If you want we can just chill and get to know each other.If you want?" She she said ."You look so cute when you lie ."he said.
They sat down and shared some information about themselves. Their likes and their dislikes. Hours passed like the ongoing wind . Seconds turned into minutes and minutes hours. They talked , laughed and enjoyed every second of it. Mariana found herself falling for Lucas. They talked till nightfall came.
"It's getting pretty late. It's time for me to head home before my mother scolds me." Mariana said in rolling her eyes. "Okay but let me you home. Its getting pretty dark and it's very dangerous out there." Lucas responded. Mariana agreed to not waste anymore time.
On their way they talked more about their interests and life. Sofia saw them from a distance and wondered who was the guy walking with Mariana .They finally arrived to their destination. "Thank you for escorting me home and giving me this wonderful day ." Mariana said. "It was my pleasure." he responded.

As Mariana was getting ready to go to sleep she got a call from Sofia."Sup Sophie." Said Mariana."Hi Mariana. How are you ." Said Sofia "I'm good. Why are you calling me in the middle of the night?"Mariana asked sensing something was not write."Who was that hottie you were talking with?" Asked Sofia. "Why do you want to know? Wait a minute, were you spying on me?" Mariana said in anger. "No just curious." responded Sofia. "Bye Sophie." Mariana quickly cut the call in annoyance. She rolled her eyes and went to sleep.

The next day she came to school looking happier than usual. She greeted everyone politely and smiled. Everyone looked at each other in confusion and in shock.
