Camilla couldn't sleep all night knowing that she was doing an injustice to her daughter.
"Camilla , Camilla" A mysterious woman called her name. Responded Camilla.
"You can't protect her forever." The old woman ."What are you talking about mother." Responded Camilla."Mariana has come of age to break the curse." Said Camilla's mother. "No mother. Never ! I'm never going to get let Mariana sacrifice herself to those savages." Said Camilla. "This is Mariana's fate and you can't change that. Every woman from the Martinez clan is destined to break the curse."said Camilla's mother. "Please mother don't make me do this. I don't want to destroy Marianna's life." Camilla pleaded with her mother. "Please mother ,please mother."Camilla murmured to herself while tossing and turning. She woke up and felt relieved. "It was just a dream, calm down." Camilla said reassuring herself.
Mariana woke up to find her mother waiting for her in the living room. Camilla looked very serious. "Good morning mother why do you look so tense." Asked Mariana. "I think I know how you can find Sofia's body." Camilla said with a sigh. The moment those words came out of Camilla's mouth Mariana's soul went silence. "You do! But how?" Responded Mariana. "Well I've been hiding this secret for a very long time." Camilla sighed. She took Mariana to a room that had been locked for a very long time. "You told me to never enter this room. Why now? Asked Mariana. "I was trying protect you but you not a little girl anymore." Camilla opened an old dusty door. When it was opened it glowed and shimmered like emerald. The magic was so intense that plants started growing inside the house. Mariana's jaw dropped when they went inside. The magical room was filled with different types of necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings. But this was not just any type jewellery. They looked rare and they glowed ,shimmered and shined in an describable way. Each tempting to touch but if chosen the wrong one the person would have to pay a deadly price for messing with sea magic. Mariana enchanted with the beautiful voices that came out of each necklace was about to touch one of them. "Mariana! No!" Camilla said while pulling Mariana from the necklace. "I know that these necklaces are tempting to touch but their very deadly. Magic is not to be played with especially Sea magic."
Said Camilla in a very serious tone. "But mother they look harmless." Said Mariana."Don't you hear the sounds and desperate cries of these beings?They want to use you as a sacrifice to comeback to life." Said Camilla. Mariana listened closely and had scary voices.
THE FIRST NECKLACE: Come to me I don't bite. I'll make you the most powerful being to ever walk this earth.
THE SECOND NECKLACE: Try me, just this once. And I promise you wealth and power beyond anything this world can offer.
THE THIRD NECKLACE: Don't listen to these fools come to me and I'll show tangible evidence.
"The place these mermaids ended up in is a place of eternal torment. There is no rest forever. That's why their trying to sacrifice you for them to be able escape that horrible place even for a moment." Said Camilla.
"Mermaids? Sea magic?" Mariana said."Yes these poor beings had to pay the price for their King's mistake. A very deadly price" Said Camilla.
"Let me tell the old tale of the mighty fall of the 'Storm hearts'." Said Camilla.
The Storm hearts were once a clan of very powerful and wealthy mermaids. They were offsprings of the powerful Greek god Poseidon. They became wealthy by trading with pirates and the King's of the olden days. They lived very long lives the maximum was 100 000 years and they still stayed youthful at that age. When they died they went to paradise (which was mermaid heaven). But one day their King out of curiosity Shape shifted into a human and went to the land of humans. He then saw a very beautiful girl and coundn't take her eyes of her. She carried herself with confidence and grace and was a bit of a rebel. The King tried to charm her but she didn't even flinch. He tried and tried for days but she kept rejecting him. Getting impatience he forced himself on her. She screamed and cried but no one came to save her. Traumatized the girl didn't eat or talk for a 3 days. Her Aunt noticed that she wasn't eating or saying anything. As months passed by her pregnancy became more obvious. She was judged and shamed by her community. Not knowing what to do she broke down in tears and told her Aunt everything. What the girl didnt know was that her Aunt was a witch. With immediate effect she easily found the culprit. She used her black magic to communicate with the beings of the sea. After the mermaids found out what the King did you would think that they would have pity on the girl. But they turned their back on her in fear of the King and the Queen. When the Queen found out,she decided to take matters into her own hands. Instead of defending her , she allowed her heart to be filled with envy and anger and killed the girl in the most horribe way possible. The girl's aunt decided to avenge her niece by turning her into a marine spirit. With her new powers the girl decided to take revenge on the whole storm heart clan. Her heart was hardened and bitter. The only way her soul could be able to find peace was by making the King ,his clan, offsprings and the generation to come suffer and bring them pain.
