the above quote made me mad
as i dive deeper into what actually
defines womanhood from manhood,
girlhood from boyhood. and so
much of it is culturally and socially
put upon, that even in more
feminine presenting spaces, we
are still defining that if you are a
man, you are going to embody
the traits of who you want to become.
but if you are woman, you are notencouraged to embody it, but instead
spend your time searching for someone
outside of your own self who embodies
it. and who embodies it? a man. so gross.
