"CONNOR!" BRADY shouts over the mic. "You're fucking selling right now! Lock in, dude!"
"I am locked in!" Connor shouts back, causing me to laugh.
Currently, I'm laying on Connor's bed with Bailey as Connor plays Fortnite with Brady, Walker, and a few other people who I don't know.
I'd been considering telling Connor about Jack, but I was scared of what his reaction might be if I do.
God, maybe I should just tell him. I can't keep this over my head, and he'll find out anyways.
"Uh... C?" I mutter, and his eyebrows raise.
I think he can tell my attitude has shifted a little, and he seems confused about it.
"Yeah, crazy girl?" He mutters, spinning his gaming chair to look at me completely, even though Brady has begun to yell again about Connor not paying attention.
"Can I tell you something?" I ask hesitantly, and he nods.
"Of course. Want me to hang up on them?" He motions to the computer, and I smile softly.
"That'd be nice. But you don't have to." I reply.
"Connor, I swear I will tell her all your fucking secrets if you drop this call!" Brady shouts, and Connor sighs before hanging up anyways.
"Uhm..." how do I even start to explain this?
He gives me his full attention, seeming confused on why I won't just speak, but he doesn't say anything about it.
"I don't really know how to say this..." I laugh awkwardly. "Promise to not hate me?"
"Well I can't promise that if I don't know what you're gonna say, crazy girl, but I'll do my best." He jokes, and I force a smile on my face at his words.
"Uh... so my ex—"
"Xander?" Connor interrupts, and I shake my head. "What did he d- wait, not Xander?"
