"CONNOR AND you finally made up?!" Malachi shouts over the phone.
I'd decided to FaceTime him today, since he didn't have to start working today until later.
"Yes! He finally forgave me. And we kissed yesterday." I squeal excitedly.
"Oh, so you admit you like him?" Malachi asks me, and I sigh.
"Yes, I admit it, I have a crush on Connor." I mutter.
"I knew you did! Cant lie to me, Kate-a-reeno. I always know." He jokes, and I roll my eyes.
"Yeah yeah, whatever. How's things with you?" I ask, and he shrugs.
"Not bad. Met a girl. She's super sweet." He smiles, and my eyes widen excitedly.
"You met someone?! What's her name!" I shout, and his cheeks go a little pink.
"Her name is Lizzie. She works with me." He explains. "I'm not sure how easy it'll be to win her over, but she seems to like me a decent amount."
"That's good! I hope it works out for you, Mal." I smile at him before checking the time. My eyes widen. "Oh crap! I gotta get ready to go! Connor's taking me out at 1!"
"Oh?" Malachi raises an eyebrow.
My face heats up. "Yes, he's taking me out. His words. I'm pretty sure it's a group thing."
"A group thing? Like a triple date or something?" He asks skeptically, and I shrug.
"I guess? He didn't clarify." I mutter.
"Aww, you're going on a date!" Malachi teases, "about time you go out with him. I've been manifesting this since before you two met."
"Yeah, I'm aware." I sigh jokingly. "I'll talk to you later. Bye, Mal."
"Bye Kateroni!" He shouts as I hang up.
I quickly put on my favorite lipgloss and make sure my hair looks okay before picking out the outfit I wanna wear. I'm going with a grey crop top that says Colorado across it, and some plain black shorts.
Connor told me to dress casually, so if everyone else looks better than I do I'm gonna slap him across the face.
Connor texts me that he's here, and that Brady is also in the car because him, Lauren, Summer, and Walker are the others that we're going out with.
