WE WERE all sat in the same hotel room, and I was nervous. For multiple reasons. One being that the boy sitting next to me was really cute, and the other being that I'm thinking about releasing my album that I wrote, but I'm nervous to ask for my friends' opinions on if I should or not, because I may get shot down.
I know they'll always support me, but since the album is all about Xander... I'm unsure. Summer absolutely despises Xander, and I know Lauren isn't exactly a fan of him either. Malachi threatened to beat him up, but quietly denied that idea since it wouldn't be very good for his public image...
Thankfully when I got broken up with most people jumped to my defense, and it seemed that only Alyssa was on his side... but she quickly got broken up with anyway because Xander realized she's a freshman.
I can tell them, they'll be happy for me. I know my friends will always support me in what I do.
"Guys?" I say suddenly, making everyone turn to me. Oh that's a lot of eyes. "Uhm, I wanna share something before I post it on Instagram, but if you don't think it's a good idea then I obviously won't do it,"
Lauren turns from Brady's chest to look at me, giving me her full attention so that I know she's listening.
"Uh..." I stutter, "I wrote music, and I think I wanna release it. I was able to get—"
"Oh my God that's so cool!" Summer squeals, hopping up from her place next to Walker to hug me.
"Kate that's amazing! What's it about?" Connor asks.
My face lights up. He's interested in it? Like, actually? And he's cute? Bingo.
Oh shit my album's about my toxic ex... I'm sure that's a great conversation starter for us. He'll love to hear about how I'm heartbroken over Xander.
"Well, it's kinda a breakup album about Xander..." I say awkwardly.
Connor still seems interested in it, to my surprise, and we talk about it for a little, I explain what most of the songs are about to him, and I'm smiling the entire time.
Others join our conversation, Leah and Aryan being two of those people who do.
"Okay but, angry songs or sad songs?" Leah asks curiously.
