CONNOR INSISTED that we go on a date today, even though we hung out yesterday and the day before... and probably the day before that, I honestly don't remember.
He said multiple times that I'd have fun and not to worry, so I gave in. Not that I don't like going on dates, but I had planned to song write today with Summer. When I explained Connor had planned a date, she happily let me leave. I felt bad, but she seemed genuinely happy when I told her about it, so I went anyways.
I was still a little confused on what she was up to, but since she didn't want to disclose anything, I didn't ask.
Connor told me to dress comfortably, so I chose leggings and a sweatshirt like I would usually do.
"Nice outfit choice, my stolen hoodie really adds to the look." He says sarcastically as I sit down in his passengers seat, and I give him a look.
"You really want the damn thing back? I'm not wearing a shirt under it." I point out, and his eyes widen a little.
"Well— no that's not—" he stutters. "Keep it."
I smile mischievously. "Good! I was gonna keep it anyways."
He shakes his head at me as he rolls his eyes in a fond manner, pulling out of this parking spot and driving to wherever he's taking me.
"Con, where are we headed?" I ask, and I get no answer. "Connor?"
"It's a surprise, crazy girl. Can you handle that?" He asks me, and I narrow my eyes at him.
"I hate surprises." I acknowledge, and he nods.
"I know. Makes it more fun for me." He jokes, and now I roll my eyes at him.
"You're childish." I mutter, and he laughs.
"Of course I am. Brady's my fucking twin, and he's the epitome of childish."
I don't speak on his slight dig towards his twin, but instead I take in his outfit. Only then do I realize he's wearing my merch. I smile slightly at the sight. He's paired it with a pair of gray pants which go with it surprisingly well since there's not a single speck of gray on the actual sweatshirt.
His hair is sort of messy, but I think he does that on purpose since he knows I enjoy when it looks like that.
"Connor, did you buy my merch?" I ask, and he nods without looking at me since he's focused on the road.
