"SUMMER, DO you wanna hang out today?" I ask my best friend, and she gives me a sympathetic look.
"Kate, I would love to, but Walker made plans for me and him. Tomorrow, I promise. I already told him no for tomorrow because I wanted to hang out with you." Summer explains, and I nod.
"That's not a problem, Sum. He's your boyfriend, I get it." I wave her off, and she hugs me before walking out to go hang out with Walker.
"I'm still sorry that I can't!" She replies, "maybe ask Lauren?"
I nod. "Yeah, I will."
I decide to just text Lauren because if she's busy than I don't want to have to go over to her room just ask her about it when I could text her and spade the steps.
