Aaron

Another three weeks of sneaking around with Amelia flew by. To my surprise nobody on the team had seemed to notice our stolen glance in the office, or rare moments of small touches to comfort each other when we were away during our last two cases.

Today was a Saturday. Haley and her new boyfriend had taken Jack on a trip for the weekend, which meant if we didn't get called in I had no obligation until Monday morning. Now it was just before lunch I'd manage to do everything that needed to be either fixed or cleaned in the apartment done. I'd washed all the dirty laundry, dishes. Cleaned the kitchen and bathroom. Fixed the faucet in the bathroom. Everything. The apartment hadn't been this clean in months.

I got up from my chair beside the kitchen island abandoning my half empty coffee cup for better company. I walked out to the staircase hallway, knocking softy on the door opposite of mine. The door opened to a bewildered looking Amelia. "Oh, thank goodness." She sighed and her shoulders dropped when she saw me.

"What's going on?" Worry laced my voice.

"Oh sorry. It's nothing serious." She chuckled. "I've just been bored out of my mind all morning. I think I've cleaned every spot in this apartment three times already."

"Then you won't mind me asking you to come over for lunch." I suggested already knowing her answer.

"Please do."

"Do you want to come over for lunch?" I leaned my shoulder on the door frame.

"Mhm... Let me think about it." She grinned.

"You think you're so funny." I said walking into her apartment grabbing her key.

"Oh you know I am." She laughed softly as I grabbed her waist and walked her in front of me out to the hallway, locking her door behind us as we crossed over to mine.

"Will you at least let me help you today?"  She asked walking around my kitchen island.

"Nope. You just sit here and look pretty while I cook." I smirk at her pulling out one of the hightop chairs.

"You are way too stubborn Hotchner." She huffed with a fake frown.

"I thought you liked that about me." I grin before pressing a small kiss to Amelia lips.

"You're lucky I like you at all, don't push it." She grinned back.

I work on making lunch for two, I glance from my cooking every so often over to Amelia. Stealing kisses and touches when I walk near her.

Once done, I plate our food and sit on the hightop next to her.

"This looks very good, thank you." She places a hand on the side of my face and a soft kiss on my lips.

"You are very welcome." I squeezed her thigh and her breath hitched just the slightest as Amelia looked down at her thigh.

She diverted her attention towards the food, so I did the same. We began eating in comfortable silence.

"So, Jack is he having fun?" Amelia looked up from her plate with a smile.

"I think so. We haven't talked today, but he had fun yesterday."

"That's good." She smiled widely before taking another bite of the food.

We continued to talk about smaller things as we finished up. Amelia talked her way into helping me clean up or more she cleaned while I distracted her. There's just something about her that makes me unable to keep my hands off her. They wrapped snuggly around her waist from behind, while I placed soft kisses along the side neck and shoulders. "Please stay." I murmured in the crock of her neck.
