I woke up slowly, more drowsy than i ussually am when i wake up in the morning.. to my suprise though, I felt a weight against my side, which turned out to be Mario. He must of rolled over in his sleep. I concluded. Though I couldnt help but admit to myself the unintentional cuddle was kinda comforting.. no. dont do this again.. You promised to yourself.. no more of this love bullsh*t... it only causes more pain... but.. gaaahhh...
The cashier, who had been kind enough to let Mario and I stay the night was giving me a cheeky grin, as if they knew what I was thinking about.
I wanted to get up, but I also didnt have the heart to accidentally wake Mario up... he looked so... so very peaceful. So, I stayed like this for hell knows how long, untill he woke up.
He woke with a yawn, sitting up, and taking a few moments to process how close he was to me.
I quickly said an explaination, though, before he could even open his mouth. "You rolled onto my side and I didnt wanna wake you up"
He looked slightly embarrassed "Ah- Sorry!"
"its alright" I reasured him gently, not wanting him to feel too embarrassed.
The cashier walked up to us. "How did you two sleep?" They shot me another cheeky grin, clearly teasing me.
"We slept good- thanks again for letting us stay here-" Mario said.
"Anytime! Yknow, i never caught your names." They said.
"Ah- well, im Mario!"
"And im Riba." I said with slight hesitation.
"Well, those are just lovely names, mines Yuki!"
"Well, thanks again, Yuki, but we should probably be going now." I got up from the matress.
"oh alright. be careful, you two, dont get yourself caught in a fish net" They grinned. Seriously?
Mario had chuckled slightly.
I huffed, but ultimately kept my cool. "lets go, Mario." I walked out of the shop, I heard Mario saying goodbye to Yuki before heading off after me. Now nice and refreshed. Mario and I were ready to travel again, and set off into the unknown in search of a town, or somewhere to build a small cabin.
