Marios Pov:

I opened my eyes... hold on... I'm not awake... this feels fake... I was surrounded by a void of pure white... And... no. I though he was gone! Marchionne was standing, staring at me with eyes that betrayed nothing.

"What do you want from me...?" I asked, getting up and looking at him.

A sudden rage sparked in his eyes, he shoved me to the ground and started to yell slightly. "I preform witchcraft for you to have a new life with Luciano and Aurora. Yet you killed them both. And THEN you went ahead and fell in love with a demon? The same exact one who killed our parents in our past life and is ALSO our executer!?"

"Uff! W-well- yeah.! but that doesn't matter! Marchionne, this is my life, not yours! You don't get to dictate who I can fall in love with or not! I wish you would just leave me alone!" I got up, yelling back.

"How many times do i have to tell you? I AM you. I will never go away, I will never leave you alone. The only way out is death, and you might as well take out the trash."

I finally woke up; my breathing was heavy. I noticed Riba was holding me tightly, and he had a worried look in his eyes.

"Hey, are you okay? You were shifting a lot in your sleep." He said.

"I uh... Yeah- just a bad dream." I mean... I wasn't EXACTLY lying...

Riba's eyes rounded with sympathy, and he started to pat my head, running his fingers through my hair, and I had to admit, it felt kind of nice, so I let him. My breathing eventually returned to normal.

"Are you hungry?" Riba said after a bit more of head patting.

"A little." I said.

"I'll go cook something up then." He got up from the bed, and I couldn't help but feel a little bit disappointed that the cuddling had stopped.

He went downstairs to cook whatever he had in mind for me, and after a little bit i also went downstairs to check out what he was making.

"Hey- whatcha making?" I said, curious.

"Pancakes." He answered, mixing the batter. "Honestly, if they turn out crappy, we can just have cereal. I haven't cooked in decades, and I'm putting my full trust in this old looking cookbook." He said as he poured some of the batter onto the pan and begun to cook it on the stovetop.

I chuckled slightly. "Hah. I'm sure it won't be horrible."

He laughed a little as well before flipping over the pancake, which was a perfect golden brown. "Ooh... Maybe I haven't fell off with cooking after all."

"Yeah, that looks amazing!" I smiled.

After Riba was done cooking up the second pancake, he laid the two on their own plates, went to the table, put my pancake at my seat before sitting down himself.

I sat down eagerly, using my fork to tear off a slice of the pancake, and eating it. Wow! these tasted amazing! "Riba, this is so delicious!" I said through another mouthful of pancake.

He grinned "Heh. I mean, I always put sugar into the batter because I always thought pancakes were a little boring."

"Pft! Well, your definitely right, this is the best pancake I've ever had!" I devoured the rest of the pancake.

Riba finished his pancake as well and went to sit on the couch, I decided to also sit on the couch.

As soon as I sat down, Riba put his arm around me and kissed my forehead, which made my face turn a bit red. But I decided to lean into him, letting his arm wrap tighter around me.

We sat in comfortable silence as we cuddled.

Everything was finally beginning to look like I would finally have a normal life again.

Everything is finally perfect.
