CHAPTER 3

HOURS BEFORE HEADING TO KIM TOWER

Lisa and Mrs. Kim went inside the Chairwoman's car, Lisa is surprised that its a simple black sedan.

As the car drove off, Lisa was just staring outside the window while Chairwoman Kim is busying herself with her phone.

"What do you know about my company, Lisa?"

She looks over at her, she's still scrolling through her phone.

"Um, honestly I didn't do my research on your company, Auntie. But, I do know that you have five-star hotels all over Korea, Asia, North America and Europe."

She nods, "That's true, however you only mentioned one company that is being managed by my daughter Vice Chairman and COO Jennie Kim. We also recently started putting up our own malls here in Seoul and soon in the provinces and is being managed by my second to the eldest daughter, CEO Ruby Jane Kim and we are now venturing to software development, headed by my youngest baby girl CEO Jennifer Kim."

Lisa looked in awe at Chairman Kim, she's really proud of her daughters, she can see it in her eyes.

"And, my job is to oversee everything with the Members of the Board. However, your father and some of our close friends in the government wants me to run for the Blue House."

"Why do they like for you to run for President?"

Mrs. Kim looks at Lisa, "Because the one running for the People Power Party, is a corrupt official. Based on your father's job, his Intelligence team said that the one I'm going to go against is dealing with a terrorist group. However, they couldn't find any evidence against him. He doesn't do the 'dirty' work."

"It will be dangerous to run against him, auntie. Your daughters might be scared for you, they might go against the idea of you for running." Lisa said.

Mrs. Kim nods, "That's where you come in, to protect me from danger and we will never tell my daughters about the danger. Deal?"

Lisa hesitated at first, but nod her head.

"You've got the best NIS Agent beside you. You'll be safe with me." I smiled at her while she chuckles.

Lisa looked out the window and saw a very tall tower from the distance, as they are moving the building starts to come into view.

Lisa saw the huge signage 'Kim Tower'

As the car slows down and stops, Lisa immediately went out of the car, as reporters were waiting for the Chairwoman's arrival.

She jogs towards the other side, and opens the door. As Chairwoman Kim slides to the open door, she puts out her hand which Lisa helped her out of the vehicle.

Flashes of camera start to blind them, Lisa noticed that Mrs. Kim would stop and smile towards them and wave, she bows slightly as she enters the building while I follow her from behind.

As we were approaching the lobby area, I could hear the reporters asking if Mrs. Kim was sure to run for the Blue House.

"Chairwoman Kim! Are you certain that you'll run for the Blue House?!"

Lisa looked at Mrs. Kim as she stops on her tracks, she looks at the reporter who asked the question, "Yes. I am certain that I'll run for the Blue House." She answered confidently and with calmness.

"You'll be going against the strong favorite candidate of the People Power Party! He is loved by the business world! He might win a landslide!"

Mrs. Kim smiles at the reporter, "Then I'll do my best and give him a challenge once campaigning starts."
