CHAPTER 15

ASAN MEDICAL CENTER

Ms. Son was on the phone, while the triplets were hanging around the outside the ICU waiting lounge since they can't stay inside while their mother is recovering.

Jennie looked to her two sisters, Ruby Jane was scrolling through her phone while eating chips from the vending machine, while Jennifer is reading a book and drinking coffee from the vending machine.

She looks over at Ms. Son as she nods and ends the call, she looks over at Jennie and smiled.

"The media are in the conference room."

Jennifer and Ruby Jane looked up at Ms. Son, "I think it's best if you two stay here while Jennie and I handle the media."

Jennie stood up, "Ms. Son, I think it's best would be better if me and my siblings handle the media, you're in no condition to face them and you have a concussion. Just please rest here."

Jennifer and Ruby Jane stood up from the couch, "I mean, you would look bad in the photos with a neck brace and a sling on your arm." Ruby Jane joked.

Jennifer hit her arm while they laughed.

Ms. Son gave them a warm smile, "Are you sure you can handle them? What if it gets out of hand? Lisa is not here to settle them down."

Jennie approaches Ms. Son and leads her to sit on the couch, "We're fine. We've been in the public eye since we were born, I'm sure we can handle them."

Ms. Son nods, "Okay, I'll call some security in the Kim Tower for back up."

Jennie, Ruby Jane and Jennifer were peeking through the window of the double doors, "Wow, that's a lot of media."

An admin of the hospital approaches them, "Are you ready, Ms. Kim?"

Jennie nods.

The double doors opens as the admin went up the stage, "Good evening, we would like this to be short and quick to give the triplets privacy."

They all nod as the admin nods to Jennie. They entered when flashes of cameras and video cameras start to follow the triplets as they head up to the stage.

"You're alive." Lisa said with raised brows.

Daniel chuckles, "Of course, I retired from the NIS and started my own company."

Lisa's brows furrowed, "Why didn't you contact me?"

Daniel smiled warmly, "I did, through Bang Chan."

Lisa looks down at Bang Chan as he sat up while catching his breath, he puts up a hand as Lisa hoisted him up.

"I'm sorry about the others."

"That's okay. The doctors will patch them up, glad thing you didn't kill anyone."

Lisa noticed a group of men carrying the injured ones including the big guy.

"Come on, let's talk in my office." Daniel said as they entered the elevator.

As they entered his office he his secretary enters with a tray of tea.

She leaves in the table and bows before leaving.

"You chased Bang Chan thinking that he was the one who did that to Chairwoman Kim."

Lisa took a sip and felt herself relax.

"He was seen in the cctv footage. So, I thought he was involved."

Daniel nods as he took a sip of his tea, "I know someone who will help you find the one who is responsible."
