The entire student body sat in the dining hall all their attention was directed at Rebekah. It was one thing to read about the original it was another too actually see one in person. Despite her gentle and loving appearance every student and teacher here knew that she was quite capable of killing all of them without giving it a second thought.

Keeping that in the front of their minds they decided not to test the woman's patience in fear of feeling her wrath. There was also something about the woman, something that commanded attention. When a Mikealson spoke to you, you listened.

After explaining what had happened outside and about how the witch's powers were neutralized the original began explaining the reason for the triad task force presence.

"Now from what I learned from triad agents outside they're here looking for an artifact known as the Chalice of Arimathea. They have reason to believe it's part of the school's collection."

"Why do they want it?" A student asked as Kole and Davina handed out pictures of the chalice.

"I don't know why they want some relic but I do know that they have more men on the way."

"Why should we trust you?" Another student asked everyone turned to see who had asked the question. Much to everyone's surprise it was Pedro who had spoke. Rebekah frowned she wasn't offended, as a matter of fact she had been expecting this since she entered the school.

Rebekah knew that the child wasn't trying to be rude it was a fair question. She was well aware of her Family's less than stellar reputation and she had done her fair share to help build that reputation. The blonde vampire couldn't even count the number of people she'd betrayed or double crossed whether it be for selfish reasons or for her family.

While Rebekah didn't have as many enemies as her brother she had still made quite a few in her time. Whether it be caused by killing someone's loved one, or using someone to escape their father's wrath she'd even drawn their father to them in order to get rid of her brother so she could be with Marcel. Something she regretted to this day.

"That is a fair question and frankly the smartest one I've been asked since I entered the school." Rebekah replied smiling gently.

"This young man is right every member of the Mikealson family has betrayed ones they called a friend at some point, we have even gone as far as to betray each other at times. You don't have to trust me so I won't waste my breath asking you too." Rebekah said sincerely

"Now, you know this place a lot better than my family does, So the sooner you help us find it, the sooner we will leave. Thank you for your time." Rebekah said dismissing the students.

Every student got up and left the hall quickly. Rebekah started heading towards Hope when another voice stopped her.

"Ms. Mikealson?" Rebekah looked down to see a little girl who was no older then seven looking at her in guilt.

"Please don't be made at Pedro I asked him to ask how we could trust you. I've just heard so many horrible stories about your family. I'm sorry." The girl apologized. Rebekah smiled and shook her head.
