“Tess, give me your hand.” I grabbed his hand, pushing myself to my feet as I grabbed his strong hand. He was clutching my crutches in his other hand, leading me off the helicopter.

“This place looks a lot better without the shops.” I mumbled, grabbing my crutches from his hands. This definitely felt way better than limping around.

“We are replacing them with stations. The dinosaurs will be in their territories, but the carnivores will most likely be in paddocks, but these ones are bigger, and more advanced.” Claire replied as the whirring of the helicopter

“Did you think of all this?” I asked, following behind her as she was making her way towards the building that wasn't destroyed.

“No, he did.” she nodded towards Owen. I looked at him, then back at Claire.

“What happened to the T-Rex?” I asked, tripping over a crack in the cement. I caught myself quickly, but was still a little shocked.

“It was terminated.” I felt a hole in the pit of my stomach. “We told our rescue team to use non-lethals, but they didn't listen. It was taken to the Mossasaur this morning.”

“We can't have a wildlife preserve if they keep killing all the wildlife.” I spoke, stopping in my tracks.

“We have already hired a new geneticist to reproduce more.” I gave them a blank look, I didn't really want to be here, but I felt the need to come here.

“It has seriously been a week and you guys are already up and going?! Don't you have lawsuits to pay? How did you even hire those workers? No one in their right mind would come to an island after a dinosaurs broke out of captivity.” I started to crutch forward again, going past the two.

“It's called money Tess, and now we have a ton of it. He have enough money to run for 100 years, 200 years probably! All we have to do is pay people the right amount, and they are ours.” I glared at Claire, anger was building in my blood.

“You piss me off, you know that?” I took a couple steps forward with the crutches, trying not to get angrier. She thinks she can just go buy people now? I know she is trying to do the right thing, but how she worded it sounded dirty and selfish.

“Tess? Tess!” I groaned, turning to face Owen. He looked different from the last time I saw him; his beard was a little patchy in some places, his eyes were darker, and his jaw seemed very stiff. I leaned into my crutches, giving him a look.

“We're doing the right thing, stop sounding so negative and listen to the offer she has.” I sighed, looking at the woman. She fixed her black pants, looking at me with a firm look. I rolled my eyes.

“I want you two to work alongside me, we'll manage the park together.” she looked at me. “You will be paid three times your pay, and you will live on the island with us.”

“Alright, on one condition.” Owen glanced at me, “I'm allowed to have a dog.”

“That's it?” She asked like I was stupid. “You don't want anything else?”

“A bigger bungalow...” I glanced at the man, covering my face with my hand. “I mean for the both of us, a new bungalow for her and one for me.”

“Just stop Owen... We get the gist.” he blushed, sticking his hands into his jeans. I saw Claire smile wider.

“I'll get it arranged, you can go do whatever you want, just be back here before nine so we can leave.” We gave each other a nice, and walked away from the woman.

We only walked in a comfortable silence. My crutches hitting the ground mixed with the noises of workers working. I glanced towards Owen, seeing him watching me as we walked. He snapped his eyes away once I caught him, blushing wildly. He was so cute when he blushed, because he rarely did it.

“You never answered my question.” I chuckled, walking past a small bench. He looked at me, bitting his bottom lip.

“Which one?” I narrowed my eyes, giving him the look. He sighed, hitting his lip really quick.

“Wanna head to your bungalow? Sam was begging me to grab her Laptop.” I looked at him again.

“If you don't answer the question I will end you.” I growled, my eyes turning into slits.

“Ouch, someone's desperate. Why do you even want to know? Do you have a Beta kink?” I slapped his arm, blushing into my cheeks.

“No I don't, now answer my damn question.” he paused infront of me, causing me to bump into his arm. I grunted, looking at him.

He snaked his hands to my waist, looking at me with a cocked smile. I moved my arms from the handles of the crutches, moving them to his chest. They clattered behind me, so I moved my weight onto one foot.

“I only have an Alpha kink when it comes to you.” he swiftly pressed me into a kiss, catching me off guard. I soon melted, sliding my hands up to his jaw.

I liked how we kissed, it wasn't perfect like the movies. We didn't move in sync, and fireworks didn't explode in my stomach. Instead it was to our own pace, and his lips created a buzz that wouldn't stop.

“I remember the first time this happened, you looked pretty damn hot when you shot the dimorphidon.” I rolled my eyes, chuckling to myself.

“Oh god, you're such a perv.” I rested my hands on his collarbones, feeling that buzz dancing my lips.

“A really sexy perv, in your book.” I blushed, looking down. He smiled, slipping his hands down to my butt. I looked up at him, nose scruched up.

“What's with you and my ass? It's flat as hell and you still harrass it.” I replied, grabbing his hands to pull them away.

“It's perfect.” I pulled his hands away, looking at him. He had a playful look in his eye.

     “You're an ass.”

“You love me.” he quickly pecked my lips.

     “Ehh...”
