EXT - FOREST - DAY
Kyra carries Cale through the forest, who remains unconscious on her back, although she has covered a great distance, she is tired as her wounds have opened up
But a howling noise causes her to perk up as a pack of wolf-like creatures come out and growl at her, she carefully puts Cale down and takes out her gun
She points at each wolf but they are unfazed as the leader charges
Kyra is about to shoot but she's too slow, the wolf gets on top of her and tries to bite her neck only being held off by Kyra's arms
Kyra sees the other wolves creep towards Cale but she is unable to do anything she tries to reach for her gun but it is too far away
Suddenly Rhys appears from the foliage and tackles the leader from the side while stabbing it with his knife
Kyra picks up her gun and shoots the other wolves approaching Cale scaring them away
The leader pushes Rhys away, as it limps away from the injuries Rhys had landed
Rhys gets up and throws rocks at the other wolves chasing them away
RHYS
Ah, that felt good haha
He looks back to Kyra who points her blaster at her saviour. Rhys puts his hands up
RHYS
Easy there
Kyra says nothing
RHYS
Look if I wanted to hurt you then I would have
KYRA
Who are you?
RHYS
Passer-by, I saw your ship as it flew in
Kyra winces at her wound which has grown bigger after the attack
RHYS
And my father lives just up the valley, it has medical supplies you and your friend need
Kyra flashes a look towards Cale who is shivering, before looking back to Rhys
RHYS
Look we're in Werrol territory, and they smelt you a mile away thanks to your leg. You can either wander the forest on your own till they attack again? or accept some help
Kyra sighs and lowers her gun
KYRA
Lead on
Rhys nods
EXT - VALLEY PATH - DAY
Rhys carries Cale as Kyra limps along with him up the valley, the two don't say anything as they try to climb up the hill
RHYS
Careful it gets a bit steep from here
KYRA
Just so you know if I think you're wasting my time, I'll put one in your head Wolf boy
