A young warrior with shining gray fur was watching the forest from a dark sky dotted with stars. Two other cats later joined him, the first one being a pale red she and the other one being a dark brown tom. The gray one greeted them with a nod before looking back at the forest.

"How's things going on out there Twigheart?"

The gray warrior turned to the starry she-cat and admitted in a deep voice, "Not very good, the relationship between WaterClan and WingedClan still hasn't improved. I'm afraid this might lead to a useless war again."

"We've gotta stop them before things get worse!" the dark brown tom retorted.

"And how are we gonna manage to stop them?" the pale she challenged him, "I've known WaterStar since she was a kit, and I know how stubborn she can be sometimes."

The dark brown warrior ignored her remarks and came to sit next to Twigheart, who was now watching on WingedClan's camp. Some of them went on patrols, others were sleeping or finishing their prey.

Suddenly, a painful scream came from inside of the nursery. Without any hesitation, Twigheart came down from the sky to join the WingedClan's camp and went into the nursery without any cats noticing his starry-gray fur.

The scream had came from a tortoiseshell she cat who was giving birth. Noticing the blood that was coming from her, Twigheart thought that she wouldn't make it. He approached the tortoiseshell queen, looking down at the three fur balls. One was white, and the other two were tortoiseshells just like their mother.

"I'm sorry, Reedflower," a golden she cat said in a sad tone, "but two of your kits passed away. The tortoiseshell kit is the only survivor."

By looking at the three kits, Twigheart immediately knew that the medicine cat was right. The two kittens were already about to join SpiritClan.

"Are they really dead?" the white apprentice wheezed, feeling nauseous, "They can't be dead! They were only just born!"

The golden she silenced her with the tip of her tail.

"I'm sorry Petalpaw, you did your best."

"But it wasn't enough to save my kits! How could you let them die?!" the queen cried, hissing ferociously at the medicine cat. Petalpaw stepped back nervously.

Twigheart didn't pay any attention to her sayings. Instead, he was watching a fuzzy bumblebee that was flying around the camp. He watched as it flew inside the nursery and landed carefully on the surviving kit's nose.

The gray tom let out a smile. He knew that his SpiritClan mates were the one who sent this bee over here.

"Y-you should name it Beekit!" Petalpaw said quietly to Reedflower, hoping to brighten her spirits.

"I guess Beekit is a good name," Reedflower said, still sad about her dead kits.

... Yes, Twigheart thought, you'll be the little bee that will bring peace to the clans...
