3rd POV

After teleporting away from Veldora's cave, Rimuru found himself on the outskirts of small gathering of trees. As he began to take a step forward, he sensed hostile presences surrounding him as several Dryads appeared immediately. Standing in front of him was the Dryad Treyni, her face showing her wariness towards the intruder as she greeted him. "Forgive me for the hostile reception, but I cannot allow you to go any further without you stating your business here." Rimuru just lightly chuckled as he took a look around himself.

"Actually, my business here is with you Treyni-san, representative of the Dryads and Treants. I came to speak with you about several matters of importance." His reply only increased her unease towards the being in front of them. She hadn't given her name, and yet he already knew it and was looking for her specifically. "Be at ease caretakers of the forest. I have not come to harm you, the Treant colony, or the Forest of Jura. I simply wish to speak with you." He smiled gently at Treyni, trying to convey his sincerity.

The other Dryads were about to attack him for his impudence towards their sister before Treyni held up her hand, stopping them in their tracks. "May I ask for your name before we talk?" Her question seemed reasonable to him, and he replied simply. "My name is Rimuru Tempest. I am the sworn brother of the being you owe your lives to." At his words, all the Dryad's eyes widen in shock. They understood there was only one being that he could be referring to: the guardian and lord of the Jura Forest, Storm Dragon Veldora.

Hearing this, Treyni's curiousity had peaked and she asked her sisters to stand down before approaching Rimuru. "Very well. I will hear out what you have to say, however I make no guarantees on what will come afterwards." Hearing this, Rimuru just smiled before slightly bowing his head. "I could ask nothing more of the representative of the Dryads." As he finished speaking, he created a table and 2 chairs for them to sit at, complete with tea and some chips that he had remembered she was fond of in the other timeline. "Shall we?" Gesturing towards the table, they both took their seats and began to speak.

"Now then, let's get straight to the point. I came here with the intent to ask a favor of the Dryads. 2 weeks from now, I will be hosting a gathering for all the races of Jura to unite them and found a country here in the forest. I will also be releasing Veldora from his imprisonment. What I wanted to ask you and the Dryads was if you would be willing to gather the leaders of the other races and if you would join us." His words left her stunned into silence. 'He intends to release Lord Veldora??!! That shouldn't be possible for anyone below the level of the hero who sealed him!!' Her thoughts were racing as she pondered his offer.

"Excuse me for being presumptuous in asking this, but what would be in it for the Dryads to accept your offer?" Her question was as straightforward as his request for their aid. He just took a sip of his tea before smiling and replying. "Well, for starters, I would be willing to give each of you a physical body for you to move around the forest even more unrestricted than you are now. I would also name those of you without one. And my final enticement would be the reunion of you and your beloved master, Ramiris the Queen of Spirits."

At his words, the teacup Treyni had been holding fell onto the ground and shattered. She looked at him with a mixture shock, hope, disbelief and sadness. "T-t-that is not possible!!! Lady Ramiris has already passed and there is a new Queen of Spirits with which we have no connection. How could you possible reunite us with her??" Her voice was shaking as she asked him, doubting his words, but still holding some semblance of hope at seeing her master once more.
