Rimuru POV
As I turned my attention once more to the pair of sisters before me, I decided I would try to stop this fight without hurting them. "This will be my only warning to the both of you. You can either stop this foolishness and we can have civilized discussion like I had planned to upon coming here... Or I can knock some sense into the both of you. The choice is yours." My calm, yet authoritative words only seemed to enrage Velgrynd even further. Velzard seemed to acknowledge my words to a degree, but gave the impression that she would not be backing down either. However, the response to my statement wouldn't come from either of them, but from Guy.
"Oh? Those are some pretty bold words. I can practically hear the confidence in your voice. I have no idea what you've done that has angered them so, but how about we take it up a notch?" As he finished speaking, he arose from his throne and summoned his Genesis grade sword: World. Beside him, Rudra also stepped forward while drawing his own Genesis grade sword: Deva. "You seem to have upset Gryun quite a considerable bit. I guess I'm gonna have to get involved as well." At their remarks, I couldn't help myself from flashing an almost mad grin. 'I'm not one who normally enjoys fighting to this degree. I wonder if the habits of my friends and subordinates have finally begun to rub off on me'?
Pushing those thoughts aside for the moment, I laughed out loud, causing the 4 in front of me to hesitate for a moment. "Very well. If you wish to join in, then come!! But how about we make this fight even more interesting so you can truly understand what you're up against!?" After finishing, I activated [Thought Acceleration] and connected to Veldora via [Thought Communication]. >Veldora, use [Parallel Existence] and prepare to be summoned. We're about to have some fun!< I didn't give him any leeway for denial. He agreed and informed me he was ready whenever I was. I deactivated the skills and in turn activated the sub-skill [Summon Storm Dragon].
Within an instant, Veldora appeared in front of me in his human form with his usual boisterous laugh. "So Rimuru, what kind of fun are we having?" His sudden appearance froze everyone as they took in the sight of this newcomer. Velzard and Velgrynd immediately recognized their younger brother and seemed genuinely surprised to see him with a human form and free from his imprisonment. "Veldora, you're gonna join your sisters and fight me." At my words, you could feel the confusion in the room reach an all-time high as everyone except Veldora tried to process what I had just said. "Kuahahaha!!! Very well then! However, don't think that just because you're my sworn brother I wil-." He stopped mid-sentence as if just realizing what I said.
"MY SISTERS ARE HERE!?!?!" Turning around to face them for the first time, he began to shake with some fear. I just facepalmed at his reaction. Even with his memories restored, he was still scared of them. Almost as if it was just ingrained into his very being at this point. I coughed slightly to get his attention before he tried to run. "Yes, they are. But there's no need for worry, your opponent this time is me and they will be on your side. So they shouldn't attempt to kill you." My words did little to soothe his fears, but he seemed to somewhat come to his senses after taking a full look around the room. "Very well then. However!! You owe me for this! I expect 10 new volumes of the sacred texts in exchange for this!" I simply sighed and nodded my head in agreement, which seemed to revitalize his mood somewhat.
He quickly flew over to the other side of the room where his new "allies" were and began to prepare himself to fight. While all of this was happening, Diablo and Testarossa once again tried to move forward to assist me, only to be stopped by Ciel once more. "Your assistance is unnecessary. This is not even close to a fair fight for them. Your entry into the battle will only cause a distraction for Master. Besides, if he truly wanted to, he could incapacitate 3 of them easily without moving so much as a finger." This revelation surprised the pair of them while it enraged 4 of the 5 combatants infront of me. To add even further insult to injury, I asked Ciel in a loud voice about how much of my power should be restricted in order to treat this as a practical training exercise.
