Everything at the moment was perfect. Ace sat on a throne, and his legs were stretched out on Riddle, who, at the moment, resembled a stool. This scene was quite familiar somehow, yet Ace didn't put much thought into it and smiled happily. Trey had just walked up to the throne and presented Ace with a cherry pie. The sweet smell of cherries entered his nose and brought a warmth to his face. As Trey passed it to him, he could better see the cherries glistening as they poked through the golden crust. Certainly, such was a divine treat for the Heartslabyul dorm leader, Ace.

"Is that all you wanted?" Trey asked, bowing.

"Yes, that's all. Thanks, Trey." Ace said as he waved his arm, allowing the other to leave. Shortly after Trey disappeared, Ace began to indulge in the pastry before him. It was so delicious! It was all Ace ever dreamed of and more. As he ate, Ace made sure Riddle heard each and every bite he took, wanting to rub it in his face. Riddle watched intently, his lips starting to quiver as he saw the other take a bite after bite after bite. Riddle started to lift one of his arms to hold his stomach and hopefully quiet down the grumbles that could be heard. However, as he did so, he became unbalanced, and he fell to the ground.

Ace watched, surprised. "Riddle? What do you think you're doing? Did I tell you to stop?" Ace asked, irritated by the others incompetence.

"No, Ac- dorm leader Ace. It's just... you make it look really appetizing."

"That's kind of the point." Ace thought, mentally.

Riddle looked back at Ace, his voice and person in misery. "Can I.. have a bite?"

Ace studied the face of the other. Yikes. Maybe he was being a little too cruel. If one were to take a good look at Riddle, they would assume he hadn't eaten in weeks! However, that was far from the truth. The reality was that he hadn't eaten desserts, pastries, or sweets in weeks. Curtesy of Ace's upper hand on the tyrant.

Although the events from earlier in the day were pretty fuzzy in Ace's mind, he was sure everyone in Heartslabyul ate, including Riddle. However, it was obvious he was twitching not because of starvation but from a lack of tasty and delectable pastries.

Ace looked at Riddle's face before groaning for a long, long time.

"Riddle, just take it. It was too much for me anyway." And with that, Ace tossed the pie on the floor. Riddle didn't hesitate and instantly crawled to the pie and savagely dug in. Pieces of pie were flying everywhere, and Ace watched with disgust on his face. As the scene played out, Cater walked into the room.

"Oh, God. Not again." Ace muttered with annoyance. Cater had the habit of walking into the room, blurting something trendy, and walking away. This would be the fifty-second time he'd done this, and Ace couldn't bear it any longer. Though, as soon as he was going to shoo Cater away, he opened his mouth.

"Ace, I have something to show you."

"????" It was actual dialouge instead of random blurts of trends, causing confusion in Ace and some relief as well. "What? What is it?" However, Cater didn't say anything after that and walked away. Curious but also confused, Ace got up from his seat, passed the Riddle who was currently devouring a dirty cherry pie, and followed Cater's footsteps into a hall.

As Ace turned the corner, he stood at the entrance of the hall. He noticed there was a figure at the end of it, crouched in a corner. It was hard to discern the figure as it was dark. Ace watched as the figure moved slightly at the sound of Ace's shoes as he entered said hall.

Ace continued walking before stopping in his steps. "Oh, it's you."

It was Deuce. He had originally thought it to be Cater, having been the one to lead him here after all, but after seeing the familiar blue hair of his best friend, it was obvious who it was. However, with the sound of Ace's voice in recognition of the other, Deuce still didn't move.

"Hey, weren't you supposed to be fanning me? Stop crouching and get over here."

Ace was standing before Deuce, watching the other not move an inch. And even with Ace's order, he still didn't respond. Ace started to grow irritated and nudged him with his shoe.

"Deuce? Earth to Deuce? Get up." He nudged him even more now and with even more force than before. Though, despite this, the other allowed the nudging to go on freely.

"Deuce! Get up already. I don't have time f-" But before he could finish, someone jumped on Ace, holding onto him with great force. This scene felt extremely familiar now, and although he couldn't exactly pinpoint what it reminded him of, all he knew was that this time, it was way, way worse. Well, who exactly was this sudden jumper? It was no other than Deuce! He held a crazed look in his eyes and yanked and pulled Ace's collar in all sorts of directions. He started to yell.

"I CAN'T HOLD BACK ANYMORE! I LOVE YOU, ACE! I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I L-"

"GAH!!!!" And as sudden as it started, as sudden it stopped. Ace was breathing heavily, panting in fear of the thing he'd just witnessed. He held onto his shirt, looking around his surroundings in fear. It was a familiar sight before him. It was his room. What he had experienced was just a dream.

"..." Ace blinked a couple of times. And a couple more times after that. And a little more after that. After a session of blinks, he sighed. "It was a dream. Just a dream." Ace repeated the phrase a couple of more times to soothe himself. The reality he just witnessed was false, and this was the real world now. No dorm leader Ace, no starving Riddle, no crazy, sicko, weird Deuce in sight.

Deuce. Ace shivered at the thought of him. The Deuce in his dream was gross, weird, a psychopath, disgusting, a freak of nature, and worst of all, extremely clingy. Ace probably wouldn't see him the same for a couple of days and was not happy to remember the guy was to his left. He stared off into the distance for a while before slowly turning his head in the direction of Deuce's bed. His eyes widened. It was empty. No Deuce in sight. All would have been well if only there wasn't a trail of blankets that led directly to Ace's bed on the floor.

"..."

Ace slowly followed the trail with his eyes and was greeted with a face he did not want to see at the moment. It was Deuce's. His eyes wide and proud, a glint of pink shining underneath the natural blue of Deuce's eyes. Eyebags were clear as day under his eyes, and a faint pink blush spread on his cheeks. Suddenly, Ace felt pressure around him as the other squeezed him slightly. Ace froze, fear rising up his body. Ace didn't dare utter a word. However, that wasn't the case with the other as he opened his mouth, smiling.

"Oh, good. You're finally awake."
