Heyyyyyy
Featuring "Jude's Song" by Connor Price

Sirius stared at Regulus' arm, holding his wrist as Regulus looked at him with glazed eyes. Regulus had never gotten out of the house and Sirius had never gone back to get him.

"Oh Reggie..." Sirius sighed, looking at the fresh black ink that covered Regulus' forearm.

"I didn't have a choice. Mother enchanted the house so Kreature couldn't get to me"

Sirius stared at the mark, rubbing his thumb over it in hopes it wasn't real. Sirius looked up at his brother who wiped his eyes and looked away.

"What do I do Sirius?"

The two stood in the empty train compartment, Regulus' head buried into Sirius' chest as Sirius brought him into a warm embrace. Regulus tried holding back his tears but slumped down to the ground, his body exhausted from fighting all night. Sirius lent against the wall of the compartment, Regulus curled up on his chest as Sirius began to hum a song, holding one of Regulus' hands and using the other one to trace circles on his back.

Sirius began singing the lyrics in a soft voice, "call my name I'll be there, any night and any day, take my hand I got you, that'll always stay the same"

Regulus looked at the train door which had the curtain closed, and smiled, happy to have a moment where he could just be himself and relax without the judgement he had received all throughout summer break. Regulus continued listening to Sirius' song,

"Less of my time spent with myself, I wouldn't trade it for anything else. You got my eyes, I got your back, you and me ain't nothing better than that. I hope one day that you'll listen to this song, keeping it close when I been gone, every word was written for you."

Sirius continued to sing, watching as Regulus closed his eyes. Regulus had knocked on Sirius' train cabin, asking if they could talk, notably avoiding eye contact with James. Sirius listened as his brother's breath softened,

"When I go, just know I'll come back, when traffics slow just know I'd run back to you, I know this world can get kind of cold, summer comes and it goes, rain turns into snow but pain turns into hope..."

Regulus was asleep, Sirius took a hair tie off of his wrist and tied Regulus' hair back out of his face. Sirius kept his hand interlocked with Regulus' as he pulled down Regulus' sleeve.

"You can come in now Prongs, I know you're out there" Sirius didn't look away from Regulus but had seen James out the corner of his eye before he closed the curtain.

James slowly walked in and looked down at the sleeping Regulus, then at Sirius who looked a lot more exhausted than he had before he left their cabin.

"Did I really hear what I thought I heard?" James sighed, if Regulus had a dark mark this could mean so much for their relationship, and not in the good way, but to James' disappointment Sirius nodded.

"He'll tell you once we arrive, probably when you guys are alone, I don't imagine he'd want all of us around him"

"What if he doesn't tell me? He just always keeps his sleeve down and hopes I never find out"

"I don't think he'd do that James, he trusts you"

"I know, that's why I'm worried he won't tell me, what if he's scared I'd leave him or something?"

"Let's just let him sleep" Sirius picked Regulus up with James' help and placed him on the chairs, watching as the train rocked him back and forth.

James sat down on the floor, he rolled up Regulus' sleeve and held his forearm, "what have they done to you Regulus?" leaning his forehead against Regulus' arm.
