"Hello Mr Wale?" I said. "Mr Shettima sir, I am calling from the police station."
"What is it?" Shettima asked putting his tobacco down, he stood up from his office chair and walked to his office balcony, looking at the beautiful view his office was facing. "Hum, sir... Your wife and miss... Mis Denise are here, they want to see Mrs Grace."
Shettima blinked, "what? I am coming right now!" Shettima hung up and dialled his wife's normal. She would not pick up. He did not want his child anywhere near that evil woman and he knew that Sheila was only doing what Denise asked.
Sheila could be harmed if she ever came face to face with Grace, with her violent tendencies, Shettima would not want them in the same room. He picked up his phone and keys and flew out of the office in a rush.

Sheila clenched her jaw when she saw Shettima rush toward her. He had a frown on his face and she knew Mr Wale called him.
"What are you doing here?" he asked as soon as he stopped. Shettima glanced at the girl sitting next to his wife. She looked exhausted, she was wearing her old clothes and looked too sick to be in the police station. He was such the doctor would have discharged her if he had seen her this way. Sheila probably insisted.
"Shettima," Sheila stood up and scratched her head, she glanced at Denise who was not looking at him. Shettima pulled her aside, "what are you two doing here?" he asked, glancing at her.
"She wanted to see her, I just... I could no refuse."
"Sheila you can not allow her to direct you, you are the parent here! Grace is dangerous as it has not been established?"
"I know, she is depressed Shettima if seeing Grace would help..."
"No, it would not, I know what you are doing, but you cannot be so soft-hearted, it will not be in her interest," I said to him.
"Why are you here anyway? I thought you were supposed to be in the office?" She folded her arm. "It doesn't matter Sheila, common, we have been over this, Grace is dangerous. She will brainwash her."
"I know she is..." They turned to see Denise, who was now standing next to them. Shettima blinked, "I might have been in denial before but this wound can't allow me to forget it. I saw Dunni's body and I know what she is capable of but I still need to see her. I must do."
Shettima glanced at his wife, "I have known her ever since I could remember, I just want to speak to her."
Shettima stared at her, trying to access her. Her face gave him nothing but he finally sighed, "I will talk to Detective Wale, he will bring her out."
"Thank you," she said with relief and walked back to where she was sitting before. The couple stared at each other before Shettima walked off.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Shettima asked her. They were sitting in the familiar investigation room where they first met over a month ago. Denise nodded, not bothering to turn to him. He insisted on following her if he would allow her to ever talk to her. She did not have the strength to argue so she just nodded and followed Mr Wale.
"If you want to leave you can tell, we will leave anything." He said again, trying to assure her. She did not need his assurance, he was soft and gentle but the elephant was still hanging over their head.
Soon, the other door opened and two police women pushed Grace in. She had a black eye and it looked too painful to walk. Denise would have felt bad for her, she would have felt pity, if she did not remember the hole in Dunni's stomach. She was not going to forgive her, never.
