It wasn't long before they were walking back to the penthouse they were staying in.Blessing, Tinuke, and Temi were still in the penthouse, preparing for the concert when the apartment staff carried the numerous shopping bags into the living room.
Denise couldn't believe how much they spent just shopping, she couldn't wrap her head around it.
She had checked up on Cynthia out of guilt. Cynthia had texted her that she was in the hospital with her father and they were trying to work something out with the doctor.
She was considering giving her that money but she didn't know how to ask Daniella or Sheila. She didn't have that much money. Besides, Cynthia might not accept her help.
"Omg! I was wondering where you guys went! A bouquet was delivered here for Denise." Blessing mused.
Daniella frowned, she turned to her sister who also had a frown and a confused expression on her face.
What was Blessing on about?
"What are you talking about? A bouquet?" Vivanne queried and walked toward Blessing.
"Yes! It's in the kitchen!" Blessing directed them into the kitchen, a huge bouquet of roses sat there.
Denise approached it, shocked by the sheer size. It was huge and was just sitting there, waiting for her, she turned to her sister and Vivanne.
"Are you sure it is not at the wrong address, I didn't order roses so why is it here?" she could not understand it.
"There was a note! Check the note!" Blessing urged.
Denise blinked, and Danjella's eyes narrowed suspiciously. There was something Blessing knew that she wasn't telling them.
Denise took the note sitting next to the bouquet and opened it.
I know there are rumors about me in school, your sister has probably told you to steer clear from me, but the offer still stands. The offer and one favor in the world. It will expire tonight.
Goke Balogun.
"Who is it from? Why do you have that expression on your face."
She didn't want to explain her connection with Goke Balogun, she did not even have a connection with that boy, he was just annoying. She squeezed the paper and turned to the bouquet, she would have asked it to be thrown out but her heart couldn't let her do that.
"I am going to get ready for the concert," she walked off without answering their question.
"Who is it from?" Daniella turned to Blessing and asked.
"I... I don't..."
"Don't try to lie, I know you read the letter. Who is it from?"
"Goke Balogun, I think he is asking Denise out or something." Blessing answered.
Oh, Zeet would love to hear about this! Goke Balogun's next target is Denise Arabowale. How ironic seeing as Daniella and him didn't like each other. He thought Daniella was a spoiled Princess, and Daniella thought he was too cocky and arrogant. The school was huge enough for both of them to not see or talk to each other, now Goke was crossing that boundary by going after her sister.
"What are you going to do?" Blessing questioned curious.
"None of your business!" Vivanne snapped. "Go and get dressed, the car will be here in an hour if you are not ready, you can find your way to the venue."
Denise called Cynthia, but she didn't pick up. After she had texted her about being in a hospital, she was worried that something might have happened. On the third ring, she gave up, maybe she was going to call her later.
