"Everyone is talking about your boyfriend!" Cynthia teased. Denise took in a deep breath, knowing that she was sacrificing her mental health for a good cause.

"Not you too, Cynthia! You and I know I don't like Goke!" Denise said with a sigh.

"Do I? He has posted your picture all over his story and socials! Do you know what that means?!"

"Why are you following Goke anyway?" Denise questioned, rolling her eyes.

"Who doesn't follow Goke Balogun?" Cynthia opened her phone and showed her the picture of them together in her cafeteria.

One week with the Retro group and it had been hell. Daniella and Vivanne had joined them and suddenly everyone wanted to be on the scholarship side of the cafeteria. It was suddenly cool now. She didn't say anything to that though, she couldn't wait for the term to be over so that she could move with her life.

Cynthia like the rest of the world believed that she was in love with Goke, which was crazy because he only resumed last week. Her parent's reactions were a little more concerning. They somehow knew about her activities in school and found Goke worthy of dating her. No matter how nice Sheila and Shettima are, they will always be rich touch with Nigerians.
She pulled her books out and headed for their last class of the day.

"I don't follow him," she answered him.

"I was meaning to ask, why don't you follow him? He is your boyfriend, isn't he?! You are the only one he is following and everyone is wondering why you haven't posted yourself?"

"Cynthia! I am just 16! Should we be focusing on relationships or our books and how to get into uni?"

"Oh please Denise, the world knows you are a genius! You need to loosen up, you have done a lot for us in this school and you don't know it."

Cynthia like the rest of the students knew Goke only declared a zero bullying policy rule because of his new girlfriend Denise, she was a strict person.

"Still, we have economics class now, let us go." Denise pulled Cynthia toward their economics class, she wasn't going to have any more discussions with her about her dating life.

"Hey baby," Denise closed her eyes in annoyance as Goke perked her cheeks.

She made sure there was no kissing-on-the-lips rule, so he had resorted to other means to show his stupid fake attention. Denise tried to smile when she noticed Colton and Caleb staring at her with annoyance. They already have something to be angry about. Daniella and Colton were staring in a play, they had been inseparable since Monday.

"How are you doing? I hope you are well, I have missed you so much."

Daniella and Vivanne scrunched their nose as if they couldn't believe that this was happening. Daniella didn't comment on Denise and Goke's relationship but one could clearly see that she was disgusted. Denise didn't care though, that was none of her business, she had a deal with Goke and she would fulfil it.

"I am fine, just eating." She answered casually.

Goke stared at her meal and scrunched her nose up, she was so pretty, that he pulled out his phone and started taking more snaps of her.

"More snaps and pictures of my baby!" Goke said with a grin.

"Awe," Cynthia sighed like a love stick puppy. Goke turned to her, she was so happy about the entire agreement, he wondered how she would feel if she found out that all they were doing was fake.

Denise wasn't even putting any effort, no post about them, no public display of affection, no kissing or even holding hands, it was extremely frustrating to work with.
