"We fought and I won"

3rd persons POV
"Shall we start then at the battle grounds?" EggMan asked Amy. She glanced around and nodded. This was the first time they have had an actual conversation which didn't involve violence, threat or admittance.
"This is where it all ends? Once a for all?" Amy loudly asked EggMan. There was a loud chuckle from EggMan.
"Obviously Amy, their is only going to be one winner and since I'm the one on the machine, I think we both know how this is going to end" Amy smirked but didn't say anything. She only moved into her position, gripping onto her hammer. She watched as EggMan pressed buttons on his machine and waited the machine practically doubled in size and had many different attachments, each holding som kind of weapon. Amy rolled her eyes and sighed, she was going to have one hell of a fight if she didn't sort out the weapons first.
"You ready Amy?" Amy didn't respond with words but with an attack. Her hammer smashed through one of the bigger weapons on the side. She heard a growl before she felt the smack into her back. She was thrown forward into the ground but didn't stop. She used the momentum to roll herself around into a stand and held the hammer in front of her deflecting an attack. Amy braced herself, attack after attack. Since EggMan was the one with the huge machine firing tens of weapons at her at once, Amy had a hard time trying to throw in her own attacks. What Amy knew was that EggMan was going to run out of ammunition, she just didn't know when.
"Would you just stand still Amy!" Amy laughed as she sprinted under his feet. She stopped then and there. She held in a laugh as she watched EggMan above her trying to find her.
"Where did you go now, you little ball of pink!" EggMan's yell echoed the air. Amy snickered as he flailed around in circles. She was happy at this moment as she finally had a battle that she could laugh some point in the middle of it. Amy got tired of waiting and smacked her hammer up. This caused the bottom part of the robot to disconnect from the top half and almost come crashing down on Amy, however she saw ahead and ran out. Amy held her hand in front of her face as the dust settled. "Looks like you need to work on actually using nuts and bolts, rather than slotting them together and hoping gravity holds it all together". Pulling back her hand, the Sight in front of her was astonishing. Eggmans contraption was in millions of pieces. She was partly confused as to what had just happened. She only thought the machine would lose its legs, not fall apart completely. The only thing still upright was the chair EggMan was sitting on.
However Amy knew EggMan had something up his sleeve the instant his smirk found its way out his face. Amy took a step back and waited. EggMan stood and stomped his foot. At first he just looked like a annoyed child who was sulking because his toys got taken away. Amy knew that his look meant the opposite. He was bringing a toy, not losing one. Amy felt the ground rumble underneath her. Amy's eyes were attracted to a point in the ground where it was beginning to rise, cracks were forming and loud thumps and shredding filled the air. She fell on her back as the thing emerged itself from the ground soaring high into the air. The ground was no longer flat but filled with a giant hole, millions of cracks and lots of unstable points. Her eyes instantly found the giant bird looking machine floating. Amy sighed and looked towards EggMan who now had some kind of straps all over his body. There were glowing circles on his arms, hands, legs, feet, head and stomach. He moved his left arm and the bird copied. Remote control is the only thing Amy could think of. EggMan didn't think clearly as all She had to do was hit him and the bird would fall too. 

With the knowledge in mind, Amy set to work, running in circles to make Eggman dizzy and then jumping onto the bird to try and find some other weaknesses. Amy was able to remove some of the smaller weapons of the body of the bird, slowly adding small holes. She  enjoyed the small satisfaction of knowing all the issues she was creating, was only creating lots of annoying noises in the cockpit, like lots of alarms on repeat, that you can't snooze or turn off. The battle went on for a long time and without a clock, Amy felt like it had been hours. Amy decided to jump off the bird machine and head back to ground to see if there was anything she could find that may help her win the battle. The battle had beenh slowly nocking bits off the bird and back onto the hole so Amy decided to create a distraction to help level the playing field. Using her powers, she generated a large blast, which tipped the wings of the bird up, and therefore pushing the bird hard into the ground. Whilst he was down, she took the chance to help stable the ground and fill in the ground back so it was flat again. Now she could play fair, rather than trying to dance around a huge hole. Eggman had got his bird machine back into the sky and began firing rockets at Amy. Amy used her powers to genete a force field, destroying the rockets before using her powers to throw some bits from his previous machine back at him that were on the ground. 

This caused Eggman to lose his focus and allowed Amy to float under the bird. She swung her hammer round repeatedly over her head and released. The hammer smacked into EggMan and was happy when she watched the smile slip off his face and become one of panic. However Amy's happiness was short lived as she forgot one important thing. The mechanical bird. How wrong she wished she was, when she thought it was remote control. The bird made the same actions as EggMan did which made the bird crash into the floor, taking Amy underneath and crushing her. Since Amy had thrown her hammer, she had nothing to protect herself other than her arms and in no time, was shoved into the floor with lots of big and small pieces of metal laying over the top of her.

Hearing the huge crash, sonic jumped to his feet and ran off in the direction he heard the crash. He was running with excitement as he thought Amy had won and EggMan as no more. At first he took in the giant pile of what is now a pile of scrap metal as a amazing thing, congratulating Amy for her amazing work until he realised that Amy wasn't anywhere to be seen. He saw a figure lying on the ground and sped towards it, hoping desperately to be Amy but once again, he was wrong. He kicked the ground when he found EggMan, unconscious, with Amy's hammer on top of him. He heard loud echoes of what sounded like a helicopter. He knew that it was the rest of the boys and searched the air to find them. His hands waved in the air as he guided them towards him. He spotted something jumping from the helicopter about 10 meters off the ground and running towards him. The helicopter safely landed shortly after. "Hey sonic! Have you seen Amy? She's around here somewhere? You looking for her too?" Shadow shot sonic loads of questions but sonic's face spoke the most. Shadow became worried when sonic didn't reply. "Sonic where is she?!" Sonic's hand pointed slightly towards the rubble, causing shadow to become panicked. "No... She can't be...she'll be dead if she's under that.... Your joking right sonic, .. Amy's fine and she's lying over there..uh ...resting....right?" Sonic shook his head. Shadow didn't wait any longer and ran over to the pile and forced his way in screaming for Amy. Tails and knuckles came a short while after, wide open eyes and hesitatingly heading over towards sonic. "Where's Amy?" Tails asked. Sonic didn't say anything and sat down on the spot, eyebrows scrunched and eyes full of tears. As much as he knew shadow and Amy where together, he had a crush on her. Rouge and cream ran up from behind the boys and took one look at sonic and instantly knew. They burst into tears and hugged each other. Tails tapped knuckles and nudged his head towards the rubble. "Let's go help, she may be alive and we won't know until we find her. Come on, I can move a lot of it in one go." Knuckles nodded and followed behind Tails. Shadow was beginning to find it hard to push through as he got closer to the bottom part of the pile. He felt lightness above him causing him to stop. Soon light filtered through before more lightness and shadow could see clearly. He saw Tails holding a small square and red surrounding pieces of rubble and moving them into another pile. Shadow nodded to Tails and began digging again. Shadow and Tails worked together to push their way through. Knuckles pulled the bigger pieces away from the pile which were too heavy for Tails to do. Shadow froze as he spotted part of Amy's shirt and headed towards it. He picked it up and noticed it was torn and bloodied but this gave him motivation to search more. The shirt wouldn't have became ripped unless she was moving and got stuck which meant she was still alive. He called Amy's name again and kept edging in. He lifted pieces carefully. He didn't want to lift it and smack her by mistake as that would make it worse. His eyes widened as he spotted pink through a hole. He pushed parts out of the way and carefully lifting a long beam of metal away. He was relived when he spotted Amy's head but became worried as he saw the blood trailing down the side of her head. He moved Amy's hands onto her chest to hide her feminine parts and moved closer. He attempted to pull her out but noticed her foot stuck in between bars of metal.
"Found her! Someone grab a blanket or something!" Shadow yelled hoping it would be heard. He lifted the bars away from her feet and was glad when he could finally move her. His arms weaved tenor way under her legs and upper back, lifting her off the rubble. Cream was crying with relief and quickly ran over to shadow with the blanket now realising how much Amy needed the blanket. No words were spoken as everyone boarded the helicopter. Tails took control of the flying and took off. Cream and Rouge took responsibility of cleaning and bandaging Amy which shadow heard her head on his lap. Sonic stared down at Amy's face in silence feeling relief and nervousness as he took in her disheveled appearance. She was covered in bruises and wounds a lot bigger than she had back in the classroom when he first saw her. It took them an hour and a half to arrive back at the lab and shadow didn't hesitate as he lifted her and into the lab onto the bed. Tails hooked her up to machines to monitor her vitals and headed into his lab. Everyone followed behind Tails except shadow who climbed into bed Beside her and pulled her closer to him. He closed his eyes attempting to claim sleep. At first shadow thought he was imagining things but smiled when he heard Amy's low murmur. "We fought and I won"
