AMY'S POV

"Your a princess?!" Shadow shouted shadow out if surprise. I nodded and questioned myself if I should continue with the rest. I only told certain people in the school who would have figured it out at one point and those who kinda needed to know, like the headrteacher for example. I looked up at shadow and took a deep breath. I looked into shadows crimson red eyes and slowly began to speak. "I was born 18 years ago on the 12th of May. Where I was born, there was a war and the enemy wanted a sacrifice. They wanted the queens child and if they got what they wanted, they would leave. My mum didn't want to let me go and kept my birth a secret and acted as if she was still pregnant. She had planned to send me to a family close to the royal family to raise me as their own, and my mum would somehow visit. However one of the men in the armed guards had worked his way up the barracks  for my mum and became her personal guard. My dad had disappeared shortly after my mum found out she was pregnant and my mum had to fight the war alone. This man went by the name Michael doubge the wolf. He was fast, strong and easily the best man on the team. My mum trusted this man with her life after this took years to prove himself but what she didn't know was that this man was with the enemy and was told to gain the trust of the queen. The day I was born, He helped her bring me to safety but the place he had arranged was a trap. However that day I cried relentlessly everytime I was being held by Michael. My mum soon saw the link and found it rather odd so became wary of Michael. She held me close and asked if we could stop at a service station to change me. When we arrived, Michael didn't notice that the queen knew that something wasn't right. My mum went to the bathroom and called for some backup from the other team who had been supporting the move and told them to follow her directions immediately. She gave all the information that she knew of the journey . My mum passed onto me all her power in hope that something would awaken my own powers so I could protect myself. By this point my mum had calmed me down and got me to sleep. We had arrived within the next half an hour and my mum walked into the building like planned. I was awake at this point and was clinging to my mum as tightly as I could, not wanting to let her go. I may of been a baby but I could tell what was going to happen. Michael guided my mum into a room which was sealed off and sat us down. Michael stood and walked out of the room claiming to be grabbing some refreshments and came back with several men and a woman. My mum demanded to know what was going on but Michael walked up to my mum and whacked over the head with his gun. I was pulled out of my mums arms and given to the woman. I stared into the woman's eyes, she was a creature that had ever seen before, she was beautiful. I didn't know who she was but I knew she didn't want to hurt me. My mum was dragged into the corner of the room. I watched as they beat her and beat her until...... Until.... She.. Stopped breathing. I cried not really understanding what was happening, only understanding that my mum was in pain.  The sound of a gunshot interrupted my cries and when I looked over at mum, the life was gone. She was gone.......Something inside me clicked and everyone In the room started screaming. The woman had dropped me and grabbed her head. I hit the floor but I could feel my power flowing through my body hitting everyone In the room. I don't remember very much after, all I know is they found me unconcious with a bruise from where I was dropped but everyone else was dead. I still wonder whether thats what actually happened or whether I remember it so well, because it was a huge trauma that never left. 

Nothing really happened in the many years after that, no Wars, no fights or anything. The world had gone quiet. The whole land mourned the death of the Queen and sent in many flowers to the castle with notes. I never could bring myself to read any. 

I was brought up in the castle by the maids and the butlers. Until the age of 14, I was allowed to help around the castle doing random chores as long as I did well in my studies and trained hard. I loved working with the gardeners as they supported me making my own flower by mixing plant DNA. The flower project had failed constantly until one year, it grew into a huge beautiful flower. I was over the moon and when I discovered what day it was, I was even more happy. It was created on the 14th anniversary of my mums death. My mum died on the 12th of May, my birthday. Everyone in the castle always made me happy just being there for me and helped me celebrate my birthday while thinking of my mum. The flower only grows one day a year on my birthday and my mums anniversary death. I named the flower after my mum and truly believe that the flower was my mum having a second chance at life. One day a man showed up called Silver and warned me that a evil scientist by the name of Eggman would try and capture me for my powers. He succeed twice but someone always showed up before the scientist could do anything. I never really got to meet the one who saved me but I do know that they fought with so much strength that I wanted to be like him so I trained harder and harder. I learned how to control my powers and how to fight more than one attacker at a time. The heroes who rescued me had disappeared and as I was the princess, I had to fight in their place. Help continue what the hero's had started. I trained hard every day and used all of my effort to learn my weaknesses both with myself and my powers. I am still definately not quite there yet but one day, I will take Eggman on and destroy him once and for all. The day that I met you Shadow, was the day that Eggman wanted to destroy the schools all around the planet starting at the one I was going to. He wanted to ensure there would be no future generations to stop him from taking over being King and take the throne. I suppose one day it will be mine to rule but at the moment, no one is safe sitting on the throne waiting for him to kick the doors down. 

And here I am now, 18 year old hedgehog who goes my the name Amelia rose but I prefer people calling me Amy"

Shadows eyes were wide open and staring at me as if he was in a trance. I clicked my fingers in front of his face. No reaction. I leant forward and started tickling and jabbing him. That worked far better. He shook his head and I could see all the questions flickering in his eyes as he processed all the information. I stayed quiet to allow him time to think. He seemed to have understood everything and smiled at me finally and said "Thank you for telling me all that, I can't imagine that was easy. I don't have any questions, at least at the moment as I want to take all of that in and process before learning anything else..... I only want you to know though, I will always be happy to listen if you have more you want to say or to vent about." I smiled feeling the warmth in my chest after finally being able to share more than 'i'm a princess' before people get too overwhelmed with that and have thousands of questions. You can understand why I haven't explained this all to anyone before and spent alot of time hiding away from all the media. Some people are still unaware of the death of the queen and that I am even alive, so that has made that alot easier. Only got to deal with all the noise and damage that is created when Eggman decides to play.  

There was a nock at the door and Shadow got up, walking to the door to open it. "Hey shadow, is she awake yet?" I got up and stood beside shadow. He smiled at me before looking back at shadow "Glad to see you back on your feet after Shadow has been looking after you since the blast. Oh, and here are today's notes" he said while handing me pieces of paper. I thought on what sonic had just said "Wait, shadow were you looking after me this whole time?" He nodded and smiled. Sonic walked off and I hugged shadow while whispering "Thanks you"
