"You sent for us, mom." Amanté voiced, announcing our presence to Kesis and two other women inside the room that was filled with clothes that were clearly formal attire.
"Good morning, you look wonderful Carlisiann." Kesis complimented me as she approached us with a kind smile.
"Thank you, I'm assuming you brought us here to choose our attire for the party?" I inquired, doing my best to fight my anxiety as I looked around the unfamiliar room that seemed to only carry one exit that I knew Ezra stood outside of so that eased my mind a bit.
"Your assumptions are correct. Follow me." She instructed and we both trailed behind her as she walked toward the women inside the room with us, "Carlisiann, let me introduce you to Kamilah and Efia, my dressmakers."
"It's a pleasure to meet you both," I stated while briefly shaking their hands.
"Likewise, your grace," Kamilah replied for herself and her companion.
"Will they be making our clothes or are we choosing from these racks?" Amanté asked.
"You can browse and see if you like any of the clothes, if not, they will make something to fit your desires," Kesis explained, "I have some things to do so I'll be going."
"Let's browse then," I instructed Amanté and he didn't bother to protest as he followed me over to the rack of clothing that was mostly blue.
"Everything is matching." He pointed out while his eyes skimmed over the clothes.
"What do you want to wear?" I questioned him, causing his eyes to meet mine.
"You are the woman, I trust that anything you choose will be suitable for both of us." He expressed, drawing a small frown onto my lips.
"I want you to have an opinion on this as well. Which colour should we wear?" I persisted and he stayed silent for a minute before speaking.
"I like the colour you're wearing." He commented, permitting his orbs to trail the dress I was wearing for the second time today.
"How about we mix this colour with the blue?"
"How would that even look?"
"I guess like this."
I took in a deep breath as I allowed the fire within me to rise and meet the tips of my finger to travel in the air, creating the image of a dress that was covered in dark red roses while his suit was only covered with the colour of the rose.
"I thought your magic was out of control." He confessed, his voice revealing a bit of surprise at my ability to use my fire.
"It is, but I'm able to control this small amount. So, what do you think about this?" I clarified and he refocused his attention on my fiery designs, causing his brows to furrow.
"There's no blue."
"That's where you come in," I confessed and he took the silent order as he allowed water to leave his fingertips to greet my design, but it didn't put it out.
I watched curiously as he used the blue-coloured water to overpower the red rose design on the dress, starting a few inches away from the hips to greet the ends before turning roses into a fabric that reminded me of tulle, but he didn't permit the water to completely remove the fire at the ends of the dress.
He then focused his attention on the suit, he made most of the attire blue, leaving the ends of the jacket red, but shaped it into a visual representation of fire.
"That's beautiful." I expressed with a bright smile that he matched.
"How about the outfit stays like this, but when we touch each other's hand to dance, my outfit turns dark red and yours blue?" He suggested.
"That sounds amazing," Kamilah stated, forcing our attention on her.
"Can it be done?" I inquired with hope in my voice.
"Of course, Efia and I will get right on it." She assured me while using her powers that I noticed was wind to make her drawing book float towards the idea of the desired design we wanted before forcing it into the book.
"Thank you." I voiced and Kamilah gave me a nod before heading back to her partner.
"Are you ready for the dance lesson?" Amanté asked me and my brows lifted in confusion.
"I thought you had work to do." I reminded him and he shrugged.
"I already told Essam to postpone it because I didn't know how long my mother would keep us here. Come on."

My eyes took in the dance studio before us that looked like it hadn't been used in years because of the overgrown plants on the walls that came from the windows that allowed sunlight to greet the light wooden floor.
I turned my attention to the mirrors that reflected my image to perfection as they showed my beauty to its fullest extent.
"Why does every room in your palace appear to be unused?" I asked him, and my question earned an amused look.
"The first time my mother went to Gargoia she fell in love with the place, so she wanted to bring a piece of it back with her, at first it began with small plants then it gradually went to things like these veins which can withstand the cold. I can assure you that this room has been cleaned multiple times, but they just leave the plants and allow them to grow."
"If I didn't know I would assume she was Gargoian." I voiced, as it was a known fact that the earth wielders allowed plants to take over their entire house—in fact, some of them lived in trees to be closer to nature.
"Mhm, come here," Amanté ordered me and I silently listened as I turned around to make my way toward him. The second I was within his reach he took my hands to intertwine them with his.
"What dance are we doing first?" I asked him.
"The heart that cools. This dance was created by my great-great-grandfather, who wanted to visually express how his heart felt when my grandmother dispersed the fire inside." He explained, bringing me closer to him so that his right hand could slip to my lower back while he directed my right hand to his heart which was beating at a regular pace.
"Put your left hand on my cheek." He instructed me and I listened, allowing him to place his left hand on my cheek.
"What now?"
"We create a heart." He responded and before I had the chance to ask any more questions he began guiding my feet to form the heart he was talking about.
I stayed silent, letting him take the lead as he brought me closer to him which made it easier for him to guide me through the steps while I gently brushed his cheek with my thumb in a practising manner for when we'd have to dance in the ballroom in front of everyone.
We continued to move around the room for a few minutes, creating multiple hearts.
"You're getting the hang of it," Amanté announced softly.
"Is this all we have to do?" I asked him and instead of using words, he swiftly spun me around before dipping me.
"We'd also be floating in the air, but that requires a kiss and a connection between us both and frankly I feel nothing for you." He stated while bringing me back to my feet.
"The feeling is very mutual."
