The drive took them a while, but through the lens of their helmets, they saw the UA High building getting close. As he drove onto the campus with Eri behind him, he turned onto a different route that led away from the High School building itself and stopped in front of a newly built building.
Once he turned off the engine, Eri hopped off the bike, took off her helmet, and gave it to Izuku so he could put it away. After putting it up, Izuku turned to Eri, who stared at the school with worry. Though they talked earlier this morning, Izuku understood that she was having second thoughts again.
"Eri?" Izuku said gaining her attention. She turned and saw him getting off the bike an opening his arms for a hug. She then smiled, ran towards him, and hugged him tight. They were like that for a few seconds before separating.
"You're gonna be okay Eri. Just remember to listen to the teacher and don't be afraid to talk to the other children," Izuku advised her.
"Okay, Daddy. I'll do my best," she said giving him a confident smile. With that, Izuku hopped back onto his motorcycle and started it up before looking back at Eri one more time. With a nod, he then drove off the campus leaving Eri in front of the school.
As she watched as he drove off, she looked at the symbol of the wristband he gave her and smiled before saying, "Okay, I'm ready"
Turning her little body, she walked into the building and followed the signs that directed her to her classroom. Upon entering, she saw a bunch of students around her age playing around with each other, playing with toys, or just reading a book, since the teacher was not there yet. Taking a deep breath, she walked through the playful storm and found a seat that had the name 'Eri' on it. With a smile, she sat down and rested her bag on the ground next to her.
Eri just sat there, looking at everyone doing their own thing, talking with each other like they'd been friends for so long. She then recalled the promise she made to Izuku about making friends and bonds, and proceeded to look around for someone to talk to. She thought it would be hard since everyone was occupied with another person, but when she looked beside her, she smiled as if she had a golden opportunity. Beside her sat a boy wearing a white short-sleeved collared shirt with buttons, dark shorts, a red hat with two golden horn-shaped spikes on the front, and black boots. She was about to say something, but when she got a better look at his face, she noticed that he had a cold, grumpy look that made her shiver a bit.
"No, you can do this Eri," she whispered to herself pumping her arms to her chest. Turning her head, she opened her mouth and said while waving, "Um, excuse me?"
Upon hearing her voice, the boy gave her a side-glance which nearly made her fall out of her seat in fear.
