Lying on a couch snoozing away, Kota's chest rose up and went down as he breathed calmly in his sleep.

He stayed like that until he felt something wet lick his face, which made him mumble in his sleep. Upon feeling another lick, Kota slowly opened his eyes and saw the familiar green eyes of a certain feline.
"Mmm, it's you," he said leaning up from his sleeping position while the cat lept off his chest.
"Meow," the cat said.
"Yeah, I'm fine, just a little dizzy," he said holding his head, before feeling a slight tug to his hand. Looking at it, he noticed what looked like a UV tube stuck into the back of his hand. Following the tube to the source, he saw he was connected to two bags hanging on a metal rod; one filled with clear liquid probably water, and the other with glowing green liquid that Kota had never seen before. The sight confused him at first, but what was more bizarre was where he was.

"And, where am I?" Kota asked.
"Meow," the cat said in response.
"Midoribolt brought me here after I fell asleep?" Kota said looking around the place before realizing something. "Hold up! How am I able to understand you!? You're not even... I mean we're not even..."
"Meow!" the cat responded in a serious way.
"Huh? My chest?" Kota asked, confused looking at his slightly ripped and messed up shirt. He unbuttoned the top part of it and saw something bizarre. Right in the center, probably where Shigarkai had touched him, was some sort of cat symbol that matched the one on the cat. As he tapped it with his finger, he felt it had a metallic feel to it. But what's weirder was how it felt so attached to his skin, like it was always a part of it. Confused he began asking, "What the heck is this?"
The sound of a nearby door opening caused Kota to turn his head to see a girl with brunette hair walk in with a bowl on a tray.
"Ah, you're awake!" she said as she walked over and gently placed the tray on his lap. Looking in the bowl, he could see it contained steaming soup with ramen and vegetables. The aroma was so enticing, that he didn't even think twice about picking up the chopsticks, pulling them apart, and using them to pick up and slurp down a noodle.
