*Colby's pov*
*a month later*

I was watching TV in my living room when Y/N walked in.

"Oh, hey love," I said, running over to hug her.

"Hey," she said, smiling.

She kissed me, and then we went upstairs to hang out.

"So, you needed help with your chemistry work?" she asked.

"Kinda, I just don't feel like doing it, and I know you've already finished it," I said, smiling at her.

"Love, I can't give you answers to every assignment," she said, laughing.

"Please," I said, giving her my best puppy dog eyes.

I shape-shifted into a cute puppy because I knew she couldn't say no to that.

"Hey, that's not fair. You know I can't say no to that," she said, laughing.

"I know, that's why it works every time," I said as I shape-shifted back into my normal form.

"You're adorable," she responded as she kissed me.

"But I'm still not giving you the answers. I'll help you with it, though," she said, smiling.

"Fine," I said with a sigh.

As y/n was helping with the chemistry work, I fell asleep with my head resting on her shoulder. She noticed and gently rested her head on top of mine, and we both drifted off to sleep.

While we were sound asleep, Amy and Jake thought it would be funny to wake us up with a fake "earthquake," which was really just Jake using his super strength to make the ground shake.

"EARTHQUAKE!" Amy yelled from the bedroom door.

"Ahh!" Y/n and I both jumped up.

"YOU GUYS AREN'T FUNNY!" I exclaimed.

"Really? Because we thought it was hilarious," Jake responded, laughing.

Amy and Jake walked away, still laughing.

"I should get going," Y/N said.

"Oh, okay. See you later," I said as I kissed her cheek.

I needed to get back at Amy and Jake, but how.
