"This dress doesn't seem to flatter you," remarked one of the dress designers. Eliana couldn't help but roll her eyes in frustration. This was the tenth dress she had tried on, each one seemingly more disappointing than the last. "For heaven's sake, another one?" she muttered under her breath.

She was preparing for dinner with the renowned Feyd-Rautha, and while some of the dresses had caught her eye, none had quite matched the one she currently wore. It hugged her figure perfectly, with delicate embroidery and gems adorning the black fabric, creating a stunning ensemble.

Growing tired of the constant changes, Eliana finally spoke up. "This will do," she declared, meeting the designer's gaze in the mirror. However, the designer's response was unexpectedly harsh. "I'm the designer here, dear. You'll wear what I say, end of story," she snapped.

Eliana frowned at the tone and response she received, clearly dissatisfied with the designer's demeanor. After a moment's pause, she met the designer's gaze. "And what makes you think you have more authority than me?" she challenged.

The designer's retort was swift. "You're just a guest."

"I'm also the future Baron's fiancée," Eliana countered calmly. The designer fell silent, suddenly humbled in the presence of House Harkonnen's servants.

Realizing her error, the designer spoke softly. "My apologies, Lady Eliana. This dress will do, as you've said. Please, allow me to escort you to the hairstylist."

As Eliana followed, she couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. It was important to assert herself, particularly against those who presumed to hold power over her. As the servants tended to her hair and adorned her with jewelry, the rest of the procedure was carried out in respectful silence, a testament to Eliana's newfound confidence and authority.

Guided by the servants, Eliana made her way to the grand dining room. Despite a slight nervous flutter in her stomach, she maintained an air of excitement. As the guards opened the ornate doors, Eliana entered to find the dining table adorned with an array of sumptuous dishes and beverages. Seated around the table were her fiancé, Feyd-Rautha, the Reverend Mother, and the Baron himself.

Though Eliana had hoped for a private dinner with Feyd, she understood the importance of making a favorable impression, particularly in the eyes of the Reverend Mother. Taking her seat, she was gently guided by a servant to ensure her comfort.

On one side of the table sat her betrothed, with the Reverend Mother to her left and the Baron to her right. "Good evening," she greeted, her gaze sweeping across the assembled company.

Feyd-Rautha responded first with a warm acknowledgment, followed by the Reverend Mother's calm greeting. Then, it was the Baron's turn to engage in conversation. "So, Eliana, tell us more about yourself. What do you do? What are your interests?" he inquired, taking a sip of wine.

Eliana took a moment to collect her thoughts before responding truthfully. "Since my youth, I have been trained in the ways of the Bene Gesserit. My interests lie predominantly in literature, particularly political works," she explained, offering a glimpse into her intellectual pursuits.

Her response piqued the curiosity of her dinner companions, setting the stage for an evening filled with intriguing conversation and subtle maneuvering.

As Eliana spoke, she noticed a flicker of interest in the eyes of her companions. The Baron nodded in acknowledgment to her answer, his gaze sharpening with curiosity. "Politics, you say?"

Eliana met his gaze, offering a subtle nod. "Indeed," she affirmed. "There's a certain allure to the complexities of political dynamics."

The Baron's response lingered with an undercurrent of calculation. "A sharp mind like yours would undoubtedly prove advantageous to us, Harkonnens," he remarked. A dangerous game she is playing - the Baron thought.

Throughout the dinner, Feyd remained mostly silent, his attention consumed by his fiancée. Eliana observed his gaze lingering on her multiple times, each instance accompanied by a subtle smirk, hinting at a certain intimacy between them.

And so on the dinner continued...
