Eun Byul's POV

I was waiting for my neighbour, Baekhyun to call me. I had to lie, so I told him that I prepared a surprise for Lay so he needs to tell me when Lay walks out of the house. Sorry Baek.

I checked my phone but there were still no notifications. Right now, I'm not even hoping for Lay to contact me. If he does, I won't pick up. This is what I've promised to myself.

He's no one to me.

*ring ring*

I checked my phone and it was Baekhyun, saying that Lay has left the house.

I took a deep breath and stood up. "Be strong, Go Eun Byul" I said as I pat my chest. I walked back home and I saw the house was empty.

"Oh? Eun Byul, why are you here?" Suddenly Baekhyun approached me. "Umm.." I looked down. "Did you forget anything? And why are your eyes so red?" Baekhyun asked.

I know I was caught by him and I don't have the energy to lie anymore.

"Baekhyun, I lied." I said clearly. "Lied? About what?" He asked. "Lay and I broke up." I said.

"Wait.. What?! Why??" He held my arms. "Things.. Things didn't work for us both" I pulled my arms away.

"It can't be.. You guys were together for so long! Can't you guys make it up? Was it a misunderstanding issue? Let me go and talk to him. Maybe he would unders-"

"IT'S NOT GOING TO WORK BAEKHYUN!" I shouted, causing him to stop talking.

I sighed and nodded. "He's getting married soon.." I said. "MARRIED??" Baekhyun asked. "Yes. And there's nothing I can do about it. Besides, I've accepted the fact that we can't be together anymore and I'm moving on." I told him.

Baekhyun didn't want to say anything but he pulled me into a hug. I was furious because I still couldn't get Lay out of my head and at the same time I'm broken hearted.

I leaned my head on his chest as he patted my back.

"Did you cry just now?" He asked.

"No.." I answered. He nods as his hands softly plays with my hair.

"Then cry." He said. "Don't act like you're strong.. I know you, Eun Byul. Just cry" he said.

My hands slowly hugged him back and the next thing I know I was crying so hard I felt like fainting.
