It's been a week since we helped Hee Joo with her house decoratings. Things were just as how it is. I'm making songs like I usually do and Lay would help me out with the musics.

But somehow, he didn't look happy.

"Lay ah.. If you're tired, then you should rest.." I said as I brushed his hair. He looked at me and gave me a warm smile. "Anyi, I'm not tired.." He said.

*knock knock*

"Come in" I said. Halmunyi came in and she gave us a smile. "I made boong uh bang downstairs.. Come down and have some!" She said. "Wahh!!" Lay quickly stood up and went down with her, leaving me alone.

Yes, he's addicted to my grandmother's boong uh bang. He even said that I should learn all my grandmother's cooking before marrying him.

We enjoyed halmunyi's boong uh bang while watching television. While watching, halmunyi said that she wamts to rest so I brought her to her room and let her rest in bed.

"Okay.." He finally decided to tell.

"When I.. When I was a little boy, omma and her friend, Mrs. Kang had made a promise.. The promise to marry their children. Which is, me and Mrs Kang's daughter. I couldn't remember her name but she's Korean too.. But I thought that promise is just some funny story omma told me.

I don't know anything about her. The last time I saw her was when I'm 4 years old. My parents knows how much I love you and you know how much they love you too. But recently, appa's business is facing some problems and Mr and Mrs Kang wanted to help him. In condition, we have to get married.

Omma and appa wanted to say no but they're the only help they can get and they promised.." He explained.

I completely understand his family's condition and I know I shouldn't be crying but, I cried.

"No baby don't cry" He wiped my tears. "Mianhae, I shouldn't cry but I can't stop it. Mianhae.." I said, trying to stop crying as hard as I can.

He pulled me closer and kissed my forehead. "I won't let this thing happen.. I promise.. My parents wouldn't want to see me unhappy too.. Don't worry.." He hugs me.

I didn't know what to say. It's not like I'm accepting that the person I love is marrying someone else but, I wouldn't want to see his family down too.
